26/3/2021 12:49 | fillspectre....it is funny. I am 59 and when I started investing the only source of share prices was the Evening Standard in London. I remember so well rushing to buy my copy to see how Vaal Reefs had done that day! Much simpler and longer term without the noise. Mind you investing and bulletin boards have been the saviour of lockdown. | purchaseatthetop
26/3/2021 12:46 | lefrene.....I want it to retrace! I want to buy another 500,000 shares. It may well dip again because there are relatively few investors right now who have done the work that we all have done as a team to pry beneath the covers and see what is going on. As soon as our demands are met, it drifts. The alternative to a buy out if for ITX to be a technology licensing company. That might be the final way so that all companies can use it but have to pay. If not then it is going to be a death match buy out contest. | purchaseatthetop
26/3/2021 12:45 | Of course bad management - either incompetent or otherwise - can reduce a company's value despite global trends in their favour - but bad management effects don't just happen overnight. Anyway I have watched John's presentations a few times to get a feel for what I think of him. Currently I am investing. Fils | fillspectre
26/3/2021 12:42 | Agreed PATT. Working from home has made me start watching share prices too much - get addicted to looking at my phone. Then you start to get twitchy. Had to have a word with myself and put the phone down. In normal times I bought shares based on my decision on whether there is a long term growth story and then tended to just look at the share price at end of day. Although I have always looked at the morning RNS at breakfast. Even if Tuesday's figures aren't quite as good as you are expecting if the trend is still obviously in the right direction then keep on in there. I don't plan on accessing my SIPP at the earliest until 2024 but more likely 2029 or beyond. That is a good chunk of time for trends to work in my favour if I guess them right - so much so that worrying about fractions of a pence will seem ridiculous looking back. Fils | fillspectre
26/3/2021 12:20 | Today is a lesson in the path to wealth in investing: Decide if there is value Invest Ignore the noise Unless the facts change buy on the dips | purchaseatthetop
26/3/2021 12:15 | lefrene...you are 100% correct to worry about liquidity. It was lack of liquidity that caused Woodford to lose ITX. If a million or two was needed now then ITX is largely derisked and it would not cost investors much value. Looking at the big picture, if ITX has the IP for the product and there are no easy substitutions due to complex chemical issues far above my pay grade (or O Level Chemistry), then which major chemical organisation can afford not to buy ITX? It is total market dominance till 2037. The management of ITX and IP know this very well and any buy out would be for huge HUGE sums. I have no doubt that we may be bought out. Maybe at 75p. Obviously this is all IMO and I am a great fan of the company, the product and the IP. I might well be wrong (but rarely am about ITX). Do not believe a word I write and make your own decisions. | purchaseatthetop
26/3/2021 12:07 | Down from 630p I wrote off InterX a long time ago. I don't know why I keep looking at this thread really, maybe out of surprise that it's still listed! | 1liam
26/3/2021 12:02 | 6.68p available now. | ohojim
26/3/2021 12:01 | I suspect they may need that $500k sooner than expected, but given their margins they should be able to accrue that sum from cash flow quite swiftly, so I suppose I should dismiss my concerns. But at any rate once going full steam, credit for expansion if ever needed, would be readily available. But one might expect a buy out before things get that far? I can't see the big chemical boys standing to one side for very long, and watch this upstart begin to eat their lunch. | lefrene
26/3/2021 12:00 | Hi fils, got them through ii but in as a fill or kill order. A few rejected early on, too optimistic on price! Gla | andyview

26/3/2021 11:51 | lefrene...they can reach $15m per annum before their production capacity at present is maxed. Then they have to invest $500k to add an extra line. We have those costings from the CEO. | purchaseatthetop
26/3/2021 11:50 | Still negotiated trade on HL. What did you get them for andyview if you don't mind me asking? Fils | fillspectre
26/3/2021 11:48 | patt, I too suspect they have reached escape velocity and will not need fresh money to keep the show on the road, it's just that I feel this could grow so fast that they will need more production capacity sooner than expected. A nice problem to have of course. It's taken a long time, had this been a favourite of Goldman Sachs then Neil Woodford might have saved his shirt, as with GS golden boys behind it, it would imo be a mini Tesla. | lefrene

26/3/2021 11:28 | It's only to the accountants to keep this afloat. It's ill fated and will never recover. Just look at the historical share price...Absolute disaster. | 1liam
26/3/2021 11:28 | Reason we cannot get shares: 79.03% are held by insiders and institutions. There are 432m share so float max is 20.97% = 90.6m I have a reasonable percentage of that float max myself That is why it is worth paying over the odds now and putting up with a dip and feeling personally valueless and worthless (yes ohojim I'm talking to you...tough love) because when this flies there is NO CHANCE of getting any more. Major holdersCurrency in GBp Breakdown 45.98% % of shares held by all insiders 33.05% % of shares held by institutions EDIT.....I might have double counted here with IP being an insider and an institution. Cannot be bothered to work it out because the point is still that the shares possibly available are limited. Just like now. Cannot buy. Damn.....now I want more SO MUCH IT HURTS | purchaseatthetop |
