21/10/2019 09:18 | 1.1 to 1.3p could be about right prices spreadex paid. They could be out by now imo. I know for sure the directors paid 1.10p. | jungmana
21/10/2019 08:56 | Can anyone remember how much Spreadex paid? To answer my own question looks to have bein in the region of 1.1 - 1.3 looking at trades on 16th August - That is possibly where Spredex would be happy to close out - Thoughts? (Edited to correct typo's and date) | pugugly

21/10/2019 08:47 | garth - Agreed - Writing (imo) was on the wall when Woodford apparently could not find a trade buyer or another fund manager to take his stake and had to fire sale to Spreadex (that is if it part of his stake being unloaded by Spreadex) $64K question is how low a price will will the re-fuelers demand? | pugugly
21/10/2019 08:33 | Its OK, I was assured on this board late August when it was shooting up that they wouldn't need any cash soon and if they did it would be at higher prices and didn't I know it was a growth stock so that was OK and I was just crying 'cause I missed the boat. Boat looks headed back to the quay for re-fueling to me.... G. | garth
21/10/2019 08:14 | Buys listed as sellsI bought 30k at 1.55 so I know for sure | block4gooner
20/10/2019 20:42 | It seems highly probable that they will need to raise cash before very long, thus it makes sense that if they have any orders in the offing, they land those orders before bringing out the begging bowl. There's always the danger that the product and the 42 patents are just too good to miss and a client or industry competitor takes them out at too cheap a price. The older chemical industries looking to keep up with the times and defend their commercial moats, presumably they check out these newbies to see if they have anything worth getting control of. | lefrene
20/10/2019 20:34 | Will need some big announcements to get the materially share price higher given an anticipated cash call. | the ghost who walks
20/10/2019 14:50 | Jung_ Agree with your timing - Price of raise will however - again as I have said before depend on whether significant pipeline accounts converted by then. We will just have to wait and see - As is the case with most - if not all - investments in shares. | pugugly
20/10/2019 14:17 | Pug - have said this before. We have enough cash till april/ May as costs have come down a lot over last one year and we continue to increase revenue.Yes we may raise funds early next year( possibly January/february) but imo will be higher than today's share price. | jungmana
20/10/2019 14:07 | Jungman- Subject of course that they do not need further funding and that the pipeline delivers - Do you agree with the cash burn calculations in 2242 above? These are as you can see based on both Proactives forecasts and the latest rns? if not why not. | pugugly
20/10/2019 13:40 | for new investors good research piece by Proactive. as noted there itx is undervalued compared to peers in the speciality chemicals industry; "We argue that the market values these types of companies relative to their addressable market size, rather than on a one-year or two-year forward revenue multiple. On this basis, we believe that the current valuation of Itaconix leaves significant upside." | jungmana
20/10/2019 13:02 | But with a potential cash call comjng | rhatton
20/10/2019 12:47 | So unless my maths is out the eqivalent share price now would be about 5.9p? | ivor hunch
20/10/2019 11:25 | Exactly 2 years ago itx was trading about 20p and had roughly 80m shares in issue ( about GBP 16m market cap). The company has taken huge leaps forward since 2017 with end of research and development phase, trimming of business, reduction in costs And signing partnerships with 3 big majors. But now sitting at 1.6p with about 270m shares in issue (about GBP 4.5m market cap).Excellent investment opportunity at this level imo | jungmana
20/10/2019 10:38 | 31m invested in development all secured with 42 granted patents. All IP available for a little over 4m.Itaconix are the world leader in bio-based polymers from itaconic acid. Combining the versatile chemistry of itaconic acid with breakthrough economics, we are establishing a pipeline of polymers that compete on unique functionality and cost advantages in home care, industrial markets and personal care. From Pfizer in the 1960's to Rohm & Haas in the 1990's, leading polymer chemists have recognized the potential of polyitaconates with the functionality of its two distinct carboxylic acid groups but have been unable to identify an economic manufacturing process. The 2004 US Department of Energy Bio-Based Chemical Report highlighted itaconic acid as one of the top 12 value added chemicals from biomass, and identified its polymerization as the key barrier to commercial success.Itaconix have developed a process with breakthrough economics and low capital investment. Using its ability to produce itaconic acid polymers at competitive costs, Itaconix is developing a growing line of high-value products through the use and modification of the unique acid groups to achieve desired properties that meet specific customer or market needs. | lukehold

19/10/2019 14:17 | Sorry 40million market cap at DCTA | wololol
19/10/2019 14:16 | I think Investors as well need to look at other companies with similar IP and their valuations. Directa Plus 60million market cap and still not in profit. There are several others as well. Where is the info about 31 million Luke I'd be interested to research that more. I think we are going to have a strong rally soon especially after seeing the demand on Friday. Great recovery and grewl entry point for new investors . I think true value is around 5p at the moment. | wololol
