A good start with a 1 mil buy and bid up, saying that you would not be able to buy 1 mil inside spread without a overhang but now the price is blue again I'm expecting a few people to nibble, third time lucky overhang clears ???

The share price would automatically jump to the offer price atleast. The mkcap is way below the assets value, this will soon be rectified.

500,001 who paid 0.6p sold first thing, no wonder most traders do not make money they never give the trades a chance

Yep, I tried to buy a couple hundred thousand at this price but won't let me so put in a smaller order on a fill or kill basis.

Plenty of buys coming in and the ask has dropped. News on any interested buyers/partners will soon be announced. As they stated, it should bring plenty of interest, Any news on this will see the share price soar.

Ah, I filtered Kirk2 quite early on. I've become more liberal with my use of the filter button as time has gone on.

I agree that 80p to £1 seems unlikely. I'm expecting 30p+, I don't need to think about it any further than that until we see 25p.

I hope you're right as regards GC, he certainly has reasons to make a hasty retreat. Previously he could always point to Amerisur and say look at the value I created there, now he just has a whole bunch of companies that are failing to deliver any value whatsoever. I would have thought that after all these years he would be thoroughly fed up of mining and the oil business... maybe his reputation is more important and he sees extracting some value from a sale as a face saving exercise and a way to encourage future investors to back him in whatever he does next.

It does look like there have been inquiries and discussions with both companies and at some point someone has pulled the trigger and said "ok make us an offer". If that's the case then you would expect that there is a number already discussed.

I have no doubt any offer would be primarily looked at by Giles and John. JW having a sizable holding here.

Sadly there is a seller here hence it's not rising.

When people piled in at 0.7p and 0.73p they managed to clear 3-4 mil, mm's delayed those trades to make them look like premium buys yesterday

I still hold and think it's cheap

There's a big difference thou in mkcap here. Amer have a 200m mkcap, here it's only 4m

Not sure the prices over on the AMER thread are ramping, the average guess over there seems to low ball the value to me.

Lots of blind guesses though.

Posted my thoughts over on the VLG thread, I think I have at least one eye half open ;-)

I just wish Ironveld were in a stronger financial position and could afford to refuse bids, to me it isn't the assets Ironveld hold, it's their ability to negotiate a sale. Amerisur have the assets and the strength in their balance sheet and cashflow to get a good deal.

There's lots of blatant ramping going on over on the Amer board as obviously the day traders have joined in looking for the quick buck, however it would be nice if some more in depth research / speculation was being done into the reasons behind both the GC companies appearing on the market, within only a week or so of each other ??

Looks like GC / NH / JW are looking to cash in all their chips, this is obviously far bigger than Iron, as something else must be going on in the background ??
