They marketed this all wrong in the first place.The name Ironveld wrongly gave the impression we are an iron ore company. The name should have been vanadium related and we should have been concentrating on a vanadium DFS not HPI that's used in old gear boxes!

Looks like a 2 month wait for results in Bill to see if we are right. I'd settle for another massive dividend. If they bought a new business with the cash the stock would double instantly.

Read a couple of lines of the report and I've learned new information already:

"the market for iron has entered a soft period and with the present electrical power issues in South Africa, "

So they have had power issues? Wasn't that a big selling point for the company, that it had easy access to power and didn't they already strike a deal?

They have written off the idea of being primarily a High Purity Iron play, which we were told was almost completely disconnected from the regular Iron spot price... it appears not.

$243 million on a discount rate of 8% seems generous, I'm guessing most would use (at least) a more typical 10% which takes us to $176 million and then I'd expect a huge whack of risk rating on top of that, at a 90% risk discount we get a value of $17 million or £13 million.

P'ssed off at what look increasingly like lies from management, but the current valuation of the company seems to offer good upside should a sale emerge.

No change in view from me I guess, we need more than one company bidding and a 200-300% return is not beyond the bounds of possibility. A single bidder would leave us open to a low ball offer and obviously, no bid, we're screwed!

A reasonable bet for a v. small amount.

For as long as Ironveld has arrogant and inept management it currently has, there can be no hope whatsoever that this company will survive to either build a mine & smelter or even sell its empty shell to any of the majors. Ironveld will never be granted clean mining rights and water use rights. The gullible investors who continue to hope that things will improve deserve only to lose every penny they have gambled on Ironveld.

Sorry I was basing that on the interim and full year results which show around 250-500k of admin expenses and losses but they seem to have paid off some debt with that placing money too.

Hopefully they won't have as much committed resource expenditure now and may get the £500k deposit back. Also may have been paid for the commercial samples
