Bought here again with intention of holding for 3-5. Some of the holdings are maturing nicely and if the UK is to prosper on its own two feet we need to encourage and support companies of the type in the ipo portfolio and by inference, ipo.

Phil, they've been helping themselves AGAIN!

"IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Company" or "the Group"), the developer of intellectual property based businesses, announces that it has made conditional awards of 3,188,078 ordinary shares of two pence each ("Shares") to its executive directors, other persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs") and certain other employees under its Long Term Incentive Plan (the "LTIP"). "

This just looks plain wrong to me!

The money is supposed to helping new companies get started, not feather-nesting already fat directors and other insiders.

Tempus: I seem to make a habit of mentioning IP Group in this slot. This is one of those companies that takes innovations coming out of academe at a very early stage and develops them until they are viable, protecting their valuable intellectual property. The market has not been kind to IP and other such high-risk investments, but yesterday’s update shows the portfolio making progress, with one exit, from Tracsis, the software company, a 38 times’ return on what IP initially paid for the stake.

Read Beaufort Securities's note on IP GROUP PLC (IPO), out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research-tree.com/company/GB00B128J450

"The shares trade on 1.3x NAV, but if you reflect the investment uplift generated to date (cf and the most recent Tracsis x38 investment), then we believe there is plenty of upside and we regard the shares as excellent value at these levels. We..."

Phil, Sorry for the over exaggeration, but you get the gist...
Honestly though, it might as well be 10m.
Management here could never be described as tardy.

More dilution for ordinary shareholders, while directors walk away with free shares.

Thanks. I am having to be very patient here. Would have been better off trading ALM more than I did.
