23/8/2007 14:36 | thanks hattori | strow
23/8/2007 14:20 | B trades tend to be reported as buys or sells on the trades page depending on whether the AFN software registers the trade price as above or below the mid price at the time the trade is reported. | hattori_hanzo
23/8/2007 14:00 | OK thanks david, still not sure it explains why some b trades are listed as buys and others sells though | strow
23/8/2007 13:56 | A B trade will be between punters who have agreed a price. I have sold shares from my share a/c to IG for my spreadbet a/c. I want the deal done at a low price 'cos it reduces my tax liability. | david77
23/8/2007 13:38 | Can anyone explain why most b trades seem to be marked as sells, because as far as i am aware it is basically a transfer of stock from one broker to another-a massive b-trade sell has gone through-why is it that they are sometimes marked as sells and sometimes as buys ?? (i hope im still not talking to myself) | strow
23/8/2007 08:18 | oh-oz back to $4-anyone know, does it work in the same way as the tsx i.e price follows the last trade price, whether buy or sell?? | strow
22/8/2007 16:39 | Larger selling today a little disappointing | strow
20/8/2007 08:16 | ng-i think bzc will probably be worth at least £52m to ivk over time-if you had the pre ipo report youd see why-anyway,another good reason to stick with it in my view-no one knows what will happen to global equity markets, despite some pretending that they do-no one expected the bull market in the 90s to last as long as it did and im sure that 3-4 years into that there were many many people proclaiming doom and gloom! Siwel-likewise you are now back on my filter,so cant read what you posted, but i have no doubt its more helpings of your current bearish stance on something-you may be right i dont know, but its pretty relentless,so ill leave you to it | strow
19/8/2007 23:04 | Strow.....Its not often I post on threads I dont trade but here is a link for you. Make of it what you wish. | siwel100
19/8/2007 21:34 | Thanks strow. Presumably, BZC would not be floated for at least another 12 months. Obviously the market has put zero value to BZC asset. The UK investors have invested £3m for 57.5%. So this means the business was valued just over £5.2m. Given the shrewd nature of these types of investors, I won't be surprised that they are after 10 folding their initial £3m. So a market cap of £52m for BZC by Jan of 09 (three years after the UK investors brought in) is a possibility. This of course means that BZC on its own could justify the present market cap for IVK! But we have to wait probably 18 months for this to happen. | nghomi
19/8/2007 18:16 | This might be of interest,as when belitung lists, this in effect covers ivks financial commitment to the project,in return for losing the other 57.5% interest in the project-answers the question about initial financing of this venture that was posed a while back | strow
19/8/2007 17:54 | Ng-well,it was originally available from cornhill asset management, and they have since taken the link that used to be in the header off the internet Try either phoning them on 0207 6458320 or e-mail info@cornhillassetma I have a copy, but cant scan etc(bzc btw not bnc) | strow
19/8/2007 10:33 | strow, thanks for info. Where can I get hold of a copy of pre ipo? What is the pre IPO price tag for BZC? | nghomi
19/8/2007 09:43 | Just a timely reminder, for the despondent here The prices used for the belitung project by cornhill in their pre ipo document, and they describe a project with "short lead time until production","relativ Zinc-$1,200 per tonne vs current 15m fowards price of $2858/t Lead-$600 per tonne vs current 15m foward price of $2615/t Silver-$6 per ounce vs current price $11.73/oz Tin-$6000 per tonne vs current 15m foward price of $13055/t Just gives you an idea of the potential of this project, and makes any talk about base metal commodity prices being 100% overvalued null and void for this project as if the current metal prices were cut in half, the prices used in the pre ipo study were still significantly below even this!-happy camping folks :-) | strow
18/8/2007 09:49 | "thanks strow"-no problem mp | strow
17/8/2007 14:52 | £1.90 mp- 2.514 aus dollars to the pound-being shafted by the mms here as usual! | strow
17/8/2007 13:59 | anyone know what the aus share price equates to in sterling? | mpclag
17/8/2007 11:27 | Setting up for the drop i see :-( | strow
17/8/2007 08:52 | The other point about them not doing the placing is that they are not out to screw one over on their shareholders-this is very reassuring and also supports the evidence that ck and the board are honest, astute, very shrewd and now supportive of their shareholder base-well we always thought he might be didnt we,owning 33%of the company :-) | strow
17/8/2007 08:41 | If one is still relatively young like me,i think i can adopt this attitude-the key to this investing game in mining stocks as far as i can see is picking the right companies with good prospects and building a holding over time, but always buying low-perhaps thats the bit that needs mastering:-)trick is i think to become more experienced in picking up the signs of more major general market movements and not denying it until its too late | strow
17/8/2007 08:38 | another £3k for me today-hope ive not been mugged again-we will see,but aim to keep building here over the next 10-15 years on market corrections/slumps-h | strow
17/8/2007 08:36 | b2l-what do you mean-ck supports the share price?? | strow
17/8/2007 08:36 | Eastwind: I asked the person if there is going to be the placement and he sounded like: "where did you get this from?" He then told me that mgmt only had the authority to do so but didn't do it and that authority expired today! So judge for yourself, I'd be tempted to say no dilution short term. | peroman
17/8/2007 08:25 | peroman, does it mean there will be no share placing in short term? | eastwind
17/8/2007 08:25 | sp in AUS 4,80 AUD CK supports the SP no new placing ! good news ........ order book in AUS | b2l |
