The nav has been announced today at 498p but with the FTSE 250 up 0.7% today as well then we should be over 500p tomorrow.

I've put my Ivpu tender proceeds in here. It's undervalued and if you think you've missed the FTSE boat then this is a great opportunity to get on board.

They appear to have held CVS all the way down, whether the position was trimmed towards £20..?

Jadestone Energy, very poor and I would say unsuitable for this type of Trust. It's down around 70%.

However, given the discount I bought a small amount.

EssentialInvestor. We will soon find out, with a continuation vote on 6th June.

Ideally IPU will be taken over by a larger one, with a 2% below NAV exit opportunity.
Given excellent performance over 5 and 10 years, plus a commitment to further continuation votes every 3 years going forward. Suspect next month continuation both to pass overwhelmingly.

Do people rate the Mangers ?.

Too many slip ups in the portfolio imv.

And how anyone did not see the VID situation in advance is beyond me.

I warned about this repeatedly on the VID board (the writers strike was a small part of what unfolded).

Their net debt levels not reducing (pre writers strike) gave ample warning of deteriorating financials, in advance of the multiple Videndum profit warnings.

My cat Gump could have called that one.

NAV keeps going up and price falls.

Quadrupled up at just under 416p.
15.5% discount to yesterday's closing 492.74p NAV.

* as is much else ;

Even Shires has sprung to life.

Well 'sprung' might be overdoing it,
stirred, perhaps more apt.

Went XD 5.4p last week, and over eg 5 years, is some way off being a low for the discount.

Horses for courses - probably a long if the bullishness continues.

I am looking at this sector and IPU seems to have flat lined for the last 3 months at a time when all the competitor's have risen around 10% without any narrowing of discount.
Is there a reason why IPU is not being bought as I cannot find any published material that provides negative comment

Yes I think it is heading towards being a good value proposition again. i almost sold out when the discount was 8% some months ago, having got in when it was 20% a few years ago (not that I have made any money but it helped minimise the loss). watch out for 16%+ and I'll top-up. so much negativity publicity on the UK, but underlyingly the economy is doing ok.

Back up when rates come down. Not a bad div payer in meantime. Happy-ish to hold.

I bought s small amount today.

The Manger arguably badly miscalled VID, all be it is just one holing.

spooky, I bought JMI, MTU, RIII on an approx 15% discount to NAV, BRSC I bought on a 14% discount, from memory.

IPU was not available at that discount to NAV. Many of the other smaller company IT's have narrowed in % discount over the last 4 to 5 weeks.
That was my point.

They are all trading at around a 10% discount. RIII isn't really comparable because of frequent total illiquidity but thats around 10% too. So its not that IMO.

Phil, JMI, RIII, BRSC, AUSC and others sold on around a 14-15% discount to NAV just a few weeks back, while the IPU discount was less than 10% - it's about 9% discount in this morning's price
