30/1/2017 08:47 | Usual service resumed. | philo124
16/1/2017 13:10 | Err ...no. | wad collector
16/1/2017 10:40 | Are we lifting off? | wad collector
11/1/2017 16:30 | Thought the same. | philo124
11/1/2017 13:25 | Should we be concerned that the new Director is a lawyer:-) | wad collector
11/1/2017 12:48 | Agreed Jeffian. Still a reasonably positive trading update, helps to settle some short term concerns, but lack of certainty really at this time. I thought the following board appointment RNS was going to be announcing Ringrose's successor... | haywards26
11/1/2017 11:12 | I think we are supposed to be reassured - and I was initially - that the outcome for the year is likely to be "in line" but I agree with those above expressing surprise that the very limited statement fails to address the elephant in the room that is the aborted Energy and Waste business. I suppose the fact that they don't feel the need to make further provision (yet!) is a good sign but as discussed previously, the fact that the employer terminated the contract opens the door to potential future claims. Perhaps they think they have made adequate provision for all eventualities but I would feel a bit more comfortable if they were more specific about that. | jeffian
11/1/2017 10:35 | Good gamble wad collector. I added 5230 this morning but already 5p down. Not bothered though, if results in February are in line with today's statement these should be North of £4 by March. | ridicule
11/1/2017 09:36 | I guess they were trying to be very brief , and in any case , IRV could argue that as a company it is not too bothered about short term share price fluctuations. Good enough I reckon and pleased to have gambled and added last week. | wad collector
11/1/2017 08:33 | edmundshaw Agree, and the rise today was likely given the TU, particularly the improved cashflow statement which should underpin the dividend. My point is that, because the Local Authority terminated the waste contract, it would have been nice to see a statement saying there was no further legal action expected. If this had been said(maybe not possible because there is a threat of further action) the share price would have soared. | ridicule

11/1/2017 08:24 | "...the exited Energy from Waste business". So no more contracts there due to go pear-shaped. Well, that's one way of telling us, though I guess it's good news... Still think the market has over-reacted to the downside in recent months, so recovery is pretty likely, especially if institutions are blaming Rose and he is leaving. | edmundshaw
11/1/2017 08:16 | I have to say that I am a little surprised that the share price has reacted so well when the bits that we are all worried about have not been clarified. | salpara111
11/1/2017 07:49 | Amazing no further detailed comment on the waste contract issues, given the damage they have done to the shareholders! | ridicule
11/1/2017 07:35 | That'll do for the moment. | cw2000
11/1/2017 07:25 | Could have been worse. Not sure everything was laid out. | philo124
09/1/2017 08:27 | I guess that until the new guy is in and there is rather more financial clarity on the Glasgow fiasco the share price will be volatile. I am sitting on the sidelines for the moment. | salpara111
06/1/2017 12:48 | Hmmm I should have made the decision to sell yesterday. My instinct was telling me a drop here was more than likely. Still is. But I shall sit tight now. | haywards26
06/1/2017 09:14 | hxxps://www.american Interserve was cut from buy to sell on Dec 31st. Rather a delayed reaction? | edmundshaw
06/1/2017 09:08 | Ok not. It was a Peel Hunt cut to hold. | philo124
06/1/2017 09:08 | I couldn't get my order filled 10mins ago because of the auction I suppose , but just added at 328. I suspect the fall is irrational and will bounce again, but I am just guessing. | wad collector
06/1/2017 08:54 | hxxp://www.building. Maybe peeps worried IRV might follow Laing O’Rourke? But of course that's a different business, just a builder as far as I know. | edmundshaw
06/1/2017 08:49 | Let's have some panic , then I can pick up my trading stake again! | wad collector
06/1/2017 08:48 | thamestrader Don't spread panic! It was in auction. | ridicule |
