20/1/2007 13:10 | Strange week - glad to see it back where it started - does anyone know why it fell so much midweek? | plentymorefish
20/1/2007 09:19 | Some proper acquisitions (outside of Sullivan's portfolio) would surely boost this share massively. There must be loads of internet/mobile companies out there for them to hoover up. | kebab77
20/1/2007 09:06 | well the week ended about 1p away from where it started and gave me a great chance to pick up some bargain shares. TMI issued today says nothing about ITW today and the company remains in its portfolio. I shall add on any further weakness | silverfern
18/1/2007 20:26 | Sorry for them but to put on 0.5p on almost no volume looks good for a rapid move north on any buying. | matt
18/1/2007 15:26 | There are big buyers looking to pick up stock here. I tested the market and was offered 71p for upto 25k shares. Trying to buy some all that was on offer was 2.5k at 74p. A classic dump and pump operation by the market makers. I feel really sorry for all those holders who got caught out by it even though I managed to pick up my shares at 65p. | nickcduk
18/1/2007 15:04 | Clearly all the sells were hoovered up very quickly yesterday and now the stock is ticking up on low volumes. Anyone know when the interims are out? Sometime in March? | kebab77
18/1/2007 08:12 | IMO we have been given a great opportunity over the last few days. Personally, I need a few after my oilers and resources decline. | johnrxx99
17/1/2007 21:44 | Indeed and you would glean as much from requesting a sample issue so I don't think I'm giving too much away. £89 for 1st year if you subscribe online. | beat the market
17/1/2007 21:10 | was ITW in their portfolio then ??..or been recomended in the past?? | kalmar
17/1/2007 17:49 | you might have another buying opportunity on Monday should SCSW's sister publication pass similar comment over the w/e. well worth the subscription IMO.. | beat the market
17/1/2007 15:30 | my post 167 refers; this is way undervalued and is market drift rather than institutuional selling. I will be buying when I can in the run up to results. I hold around 15k already. | silverfern
17/1/2007 15:20 | Now the SCSW sellers have been cleared out they move the price up again. Exactly as I suggested would happen from yesterday. I imagine Daniel Stewart will be moving their clients into the stock quite aggressively again. In their morning email yesterday they highlighted ITW as a buy. Now that the small selling has finished they will look to hoover up that stock. | nickcduk
17/1/2007 15:20 | and if anyone was stupid enough to short it..on SCSW stop...then they will scramble to buy back to close out.. | kalmar
17/1/2007 15:18 | yes bouncing back nicely.... way oversold..drifted down on pathetic volume...broker confirmation of no known seller..and company not aware of any reason for decline... | kalmar
17/1/2007 14:58 | Looks like some other people are listening ... | kebab77
17/1/2007 14:50 | gone positive...want this back above 70..so we stay within the trading range....dont believe this stock would be shorted..but there may be some "opportunists" attemting shorts on the SCSW suggestion...foolish imo and a perfect bear trap for the mm's to whipsaw it back up....as already said..scoop up stops and sell them back higher. | kalmar
17/1/2007 11:20 | this was posted on numerous bb itw tsco etc he is regular pest bye bye. | wib333

17/1/2007 10:34 | Surprised to see these go down further after my buy - they're a bargain. Nice 6-7% divi yield next year at these prices. | kebab77
17/1/2007 09:28 | I'm in - 28,000 @ 70p | kebab77
17/1/2007 08:29 | I few more sells this morning wouldn't be unexpected if a few SCSW subscribers got home last night and saw the price and took their advice. | matt
16/1/2007 20:22 | Thanks Silverfern. Very much my opinion too, I hope to see these back at or above 100p in the next couple of months. Took the opportunity to get some today. | matt
16/1/2007 16:25 | thanks Silverfern | kalmar
16/1/2007 14:34 | It looks like the market makers have taken advantage of scsw stop loss target of 72p. There are lots of dribs and drabs being sold and the bid is staying firm which suggests a buyer is hoovering up all the stock. I would expect some more selling to kick in tommorrow as those who are unaware of todays price action also sell at the stop loss. Its really poor form on the markets makers part to intentionally drag the price below 72p just to trigger all those sells. Once they are out of the way im sure they will move the price back above 72p for anyone that wants to buy. | nickcduk
16/1/2007 11:18 | I have spoken at length to the CFO who called me this morning. I have since bought more shares. Clearly as results are not so far away there were limits to what I could be told but I am very confortable with what he said. THe last results indicated the current trading positon and the dividend policy. The brokers(DAN whose shares I also hold) understand there is no major seller out there, and have reiterrated their buy rating. My opinion for what it's worth is that ITW could be back at 100p in the next two months - DYOR | silverfern |
