there is very low volume and tha is the risk with AIM stocks. IF you know why you are holding continue to hold, it will come back again. WHat I would like to see is the company making presentations or liaising better with its broker to provide an info stream to potential investors

Hope your right with your prediction! I bought some more last week at 73.5. I couldn't see it really going any lower. I suppose the only negative is the business that they are in might put off some of the institutions from buying.

I added today; I expect this to rise above £1 in H1 2007 as the market realises this is a cash generator with no debt, with the Star deal providing a barrier to entry for others and with the potential to expand into other geo territories and with further opportunities to expand the products on offer

(Tried to post the link but failed)- if you draw a volume chart you'll see see there has been b'''er all volume since the dividend was paid. Just tree shaking imho. TYhis can go up 20% as quick as it can go dowen that amount. The business is solid and the return is all but guranteed

The market accepted this at £1 when they knew the divi was around 5%. Looks like a lot of people offloaded once they collected it.

well done. Someone pressed the wrong button- all too technical for me. I already have ashed load and a 5% return on 80p via the div should mean a fall = a buying opportunity.

hugely costly to me if this dip stays. I'd like to know what I don't know about the reason for this though it's ticking back up now.

AndyH - I take the point but this is a very good sign of diversification, regardless of where the business came from

Interactive World plc (AIM: ITW), the digital content technology company, has
acquired the exclusive UK and European licensing rights and customer database of
'U.R. The Star'. U.R. The Star uses established video technology that allows
customers to make personalised DVDs in which their children, family or friends
'star' in their own animated adventures. The DVDs are normally given as gifts,
with peak sales occurring around Christmas.

The Company has acquired the rights and the database of 100,000 users from
Darker Enterprises Ltd, which has successfully exploited them over a 10-year
period. Interactive World will pay a consideration of £500,000 in cash for a 15
year period. As the rights and the database were among many other assets
previously owned and exploited by Darker Enterprises Limited, it is only
possible to estimate the profits earned historically by these particular assets.
However, the directors of Interactive World are confident the acquisition of the
rights will be significantly Group earnings enhancing from late 2007 onwards.

Darker Enterprises Ltd is wholly owned by Roldvale Ltd of which David Sullivan
owns the entire issued share capital. Mr. Sullivan also currently owns 63.9% of
Interactive World, and as a result the acquisition is classified as a related
party transaction under the AIM rules. Rob Johnson, CEO of Interactive World,
has consulted with the Company's nominated adviser who considers the terms of
the acquisition fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are
concerned.

Interactive World believes its expertise in online and print marketing,
particularly through cost-effective advertising, will enable it to substantially
increase sales of U.R. The Star. The Company intends to use its proprietary
technology to enable customers to send multimedia messages for the first time,
including photographs, direct to its platform from their mobile phones. This
will make the ordering process quicker and easier, and is expected to increase
sales. Currently, negotiations are being conducted regarding the introduction of
a major branded comic character in 2007, boosting the product range.
The acquisition is part of Interactive World's expansion strategy to exploit its
expertise more widely in digital media, and to expand the distribution of
additional forms of content, including music and sport.

Commenting on the acquisition, Rob Johnson, CEO of Interactive World said:

"The acquisition of the UK and European rights to U.R. The Star is part of a
growth strategy in which we make low risk acquisitions of companies with proven
technology and products. We see this acquisition, the first since we listed on
AIM in May 2006, as one where we can add value through our technology, database
management experience, and online and offline marketing skills."

I like the "significantly earnings enhancing", just wonder if this company is all a little too "in house"?

An intersting acquisition:

"...the directors of Interactive World are confident the acquisition of Darker Enterprises Ltd will be significantly Group earnings enhancing from late 2007 onwards.

Interactive World believes its expertise in online and print marketing,
particularly through cost-effective advertising, will enable it to substantially increase sales of U.R. The Star...Currently, negotiations are being conducted regarding the introduction of a major branded comic character in 2007, boosting the product range"
