06/12/2006 21:00 | Actually the RNS is about a new contract that's been won bt the French sub. . The in line trading statement in France is to give re-assurance about the recent acquisition. | ihatemms
06/12/2006 18:30 | Chiva I hope you know something because this doesn't look like a rush for the door. It's worse than that imho - it's a calculated retreat. Read the statement again about France - all it said was that french trading was in line with expectations! So bloody what? It doesn't smell right | t0pgrader
06/12/2006 18:21 | Funny, this is a herd mentality flap over nothing again. Topping up. | chiva20
06/12/2006 18:12 | I still think the big problem for this company is the reputation of its management in the City because of their history with Publishing Holdings and ICD. The brother of the CEO runs a company which is also taking a bit of a hammering after reducing the forecasts for its Russian operation and there could be a carry over effect on this one, hence the price weakness. | bluebelle
06/12/2006 18:04 | I think they issued the French trading statement because of the newspaper comment about how well France was doing. Bit surprised they didn't talk about the UK but maybe they didn't want to pre-empt the normal trading statement they issue in early January - I suppose December is one of the busiest months for them so they've probably got other things on their mind. On the comfort side, they'd probably have their knuckles rapped by the FSA if they knew the UK side was doing badly and didn't say so last week. | wjccghcc
06/12/2006 16:28 | The trading statement about France was a total non-story so why issue it? This doesn't feel good | t0pgrader
06/12/2006 15:42 | Tanking a bit today - a few sales @ 150p going through. Thought this might look good value at that level. | tole
04/12/2006 07:33 | As I said :o) | nurdin
03/12/2006 22:46 | The share price is telling a different story isn't it? This stock should be trading at c250p+ if everything was cooking nicely but instead has given up most of this year's gains. | t0pgrader
02/12/2006 12:31 | French unit doing very well according to Fridays Express...if so expect a trading statement pretty soon.I also expect announcement of an acquisition in Europe,Germany being the most likely. | nurdin
28/11/2006 20:41 | Melody I agree the charts aren't within the former uptrend, there's not been the news momentum we saw in the first half of the year. I'm not too concerned though this company has it's fingers in too many pies, and sits in a booming sector. Can't imagine they'll sit still for long | chiva20
24/11/2006 14:09 | Chiva - disappointing chart then - this has broken the trend line and could be on its way to 160p kind of a little head and shoulders inside a bigger head and shoulders! | melody9999
15/11/2006 14:30 | The top man appears to have a vision and a strategy to get there. The weakness if there is one is in middle management where they reportedly lost some people a while back. | t0pgrader

15/11/2006 13:50 | Melody I have a contact in the IPH crowd and can vouch that they have no management or people issues. Quite the opposite, they are recruiting at an incredible rate and have the same management team they had from day one. I fancy this is probably inaccurate rumour/hearsay probably started by weaker competitors. At their current success rate & given the booming sector I'd be amazed if the share price isn't significantly north from here in the near future. I remain a happy holder. Chiva | chiva20
09/11/2006 12:01 | On the move now - hopefully we'll be seeing a breach of the £2 barrier shortly... | nomad70
09/11/2006 08:30 | I'm looking for more exposure to this sector now - I just recall that IPH were having some management / people issues??? Does anyone have the knowledge to post an update in that respect?? | melody9999
08/11/2006 18:26 | Hey guy's !! You should pay more attention to me. Looks like the cross over has come through today with a sub 89,000 shares changed hands at a (low and behold) £1.85. Now would you have believed that !!! ;-) | stakeadder
06/11/2006 12:54 | I think this is just an irrational annoying blip in sp, caused by a few nerves over nothing. Love it when that happens! Hopefully it'll restabilise now all signs are pointing to a strong run over the next 6 months. | chiva20
06/11/2006 12:41 | yes very well done | holgerl
06/11/2006 12:38 | It'll be a first for me if I did, john. :-) | diogenesj
06/11/2006 12:33 | Well done D, you timed that well | johnv
06/11/2006 12:24 | Expect that's it. I paid 183.68p for 2,000 - looking OK so far... | diogenesj
06/11/2006 12:20 | As i've said in post 98, they must be clearing out a large seller surely ?? I would have thought that this MUST be the reason for the share price lethargy of late. | stakeadder
06/11/2006 11:54 | No idea - I've assumed it's a buying opportunity and have topped up. :-\ | diogenesj |
