just listened to the presentation on their results, seems generally very positive with strong/dominant market positions in all areas cemented by the acquisition of PDS, 700 clients, retained staff from their acquisitions, great potential in their discovery/in silico business, a full portfolio of products covering all the drug development stages, some individual items of which may act synergistically in obtaining new business, and a strong position in China hence suspect they are highly attractive to ubiquitous private equity which presently has plenty of firepower. Shares seem to me now fully valued but ought to progress over the medium term if they're not bought out. Others' views welcome.

good deal of consolidation going on in drug development software, INS having acquired the smaller Swiss competitor and Certara having acquired Pinnacle 21 in the USA.

Not annoyed.

Perhaps I'm just a good guesser! Nod, nod, wink, wink.

Close to ATHs - some of those spikes up are rogue UTs. Any break up and I'll be adding again

Usual excellent delivery from Instem in their annual results today. Presentation on InvestorMeetCompany later this afternoon.

Wonder how long before the likes of EVOTEC take an interest. I was a shareholder of Cyprotex when they bought them. Instem could very well be of interest and on the list & they could afford £200M+.

I don't think there are any in the UK, not listed anyway. Phil Reason mentioned a company called Cetara which is NASDAQ listed. They have a $3.9bn mkt cap which is 14x their projected 2021 sales. Instem mkt cap of £133m is 2.7x 2021E revenue. EV/EBITDA Cetara is 38.2x whereas INS is 14.4x.

Their products are more complements than substitutes even though they operate in the same field and obviously you would expect NASDAQ companies to be rated more highly because, er, well, they just are!

seems they now have an end-to-end capability from drug discovery to drug surveillance once marketed, so if they can integrate the acquisitions successfully the company should be well-set to grow. Does anyone else have the same capability?

Looks a nice deal - only paying 10x pre-tax profit.

At last, we've spent some money - and reasonably wisely too by the looks of it.
