I think I'm correct in saying now that if you don't actually vote 'No' within your nominee account before 24th July, your broker will vote 'Yes' on your behalf. Correct me if I'm wrong....

Thanks Joe. Well I will stand firm then - that said if they do manage a compulsory takeover would those of us who stand firm get < the 63p offered?

what happens if I don't accept their offer of 63p? Then they may not get the required number of shares to get a compulsory take over. They may be forced to pull out of the TO or up their bid, preferably the latter. It needs a lot of dissenters to stand firm though.

Forgive my ignorance but now that they have been declared unconditional, what happens if I don't accept their offer of 63p?

Trafalgar Asset Managers Ltd continuing to increase their holding, paying above 63p for their shares. They've been buying every day for the past week - they now hold 12.81%. Anybody have any idea what could be behind their action?

I think the institutions will decide if the offer is enough or not. Either way I will hang on to squeeze the last drop from this one.

PS Looking at the trades in more detail I see that nearly six million shares are shown 'as a result of an option'. I haven't a clue what the significance of that is.

A large shareholder who wants the 63p might bid slightly above that price and pledge the shares to see the deal through. Six million shares have changed hands today and according to advfn there are only 60 odd million in issue. At the minute you can sell for 63.6p (hardly worthwhile under 10,000 shares?) or hold on to see what happens. All imo etc.

Why else would the MMs be offering over the odds? They know something that we do not.
