Some interesting comments -

I work in the Heating/ventilation industry and believe, if these CHPs trial well that this could be the biggest thing since the commercial introduction of condensing boilers - possibly even bigger! Large CHPs prove extremely profitable - imagine domestic consumers generating they're own electricity and when not using it - selling it to the grid. Any tech boffs out there with experience in this field? Good luck to all - hope the trials are positive.
