03/8/2015 07:11 | Inspired Energy shares have been in focus for much of the post March period, since a gap to the upside through the 200 day moving average now at 10.49p. This should have been the breakthrough for the bulls in the sense that such a high profile charting event usually suggests that the bears have been caught on the hop, and a squeeze to the upside should be the result. This is sort of what has happened in subsequent months, but not before a "final" bear trap rebound from below 10p at the beginning of May.The position at the moment is that we appear to be looking at a very encouraging float for the price action above both the 200 day line and the floor of a rising trend channel from as long ago as September. This implies that provided there is no weekly close back below the 200 day line we should be treated to a quite significant move to the upside over the near term.Indeed, the expectation is that Inspired Energy could stretch to a target as high as 15p plus over the next 2-3 months. In the meantime any dips towards the 200 day line are regarded as a buying opportunity, especially after the extended basing that we have seen. | nw99 | |
