''It is just the way I am, having a speculative bet,''

Bet?? twice?

Why not just admit you are a gambler and not an investor?

Then we all know where we stand with you ?

When I buy a share I listen to what the board of directors of a company have to say about the prospects for the company at that particular time and also going forward
When information released into the public domain is in time proven to be huff puff and guff with no substantial business gained then as a shareholder I think I have every right to vent my frustration!
Over promising and massively under delivering is a cardinal sin in the corporate world
All only in my humble opinion

Because they believed it at the time and they believe in it going forward in my estimation.

I believe this is just a lull.
Perhaps they do too?

I cannot know what they are thinking... neither can you.

Shares are always about speculation.
Research can lead to opinion and then action.
Even then the future might change.
That is why if you pay the big think tanks, a fee, then they will give you more than one scenario from what I've seen.

We all have to make our own moves, armed with as much information as possible, or we would do nothing.
Sometimes it is best to do nothing.
No one forces us to buy shares.
I fear missing out usually more than not going for something that seems promising.
It is just the way I am, having a speculative bet, on those that I have researched.
I am not encouraging anyone to do the same.
I do share my research with anyone who chooses to read it.
I cannot understand anyone persistently berating a share that they are in.
Will it make contracts come any faster?
I doubt it.
But it is your way.
Basically, each to their own.

“It takes time and many diversions along the way, for a new industry to get a foothold.
I find the only way is to start off small, unless you are totally confident in the timing”

Then why for years have they been spouting the same huff puff and guff along the lines of:
We are in the right place at the right time with loads of opportunities to monetise?
imho

Some of us have been here before in the past, with big tech, the internet boom and bust.
It takes time and many diversions along the way, for a new industry to get a foothold.
I find the only way is to start off small, unless you are totally confident in the timing.
I learnt my lesson with some of the VR stocks. I really thought they would do much better than they have, in shares terms that is.
I managed to get out by the skin of my teeth but wasted a long time on them.

This will I think do the biz eventually, but it is why I have only placed a small bet and why perhaps I am more comfortable.
I fear missing out on an eventual rise, rather than anything else, if I'm honest, but the industry is in a state of flux at the top, in my opinion.

We will see in time.
Everyone has to do it their own way.

Nobody whatever they may say on here and no matter what their average price is can be happy with the total lack of decent contract news and the pitiful share price performance
If you think differently you are deluded!
imho

I take some of your points PJ and say look to the wider sphere for your answers.
You can't really sun bathe if it's always raining.

That is not meant to be trite but succinct.
Thank goodness for RB who still has belief!

I am quite surprised no investors commented on the following

''We have previously commented on the current bear market for asset managers and
that many have characterised this as being the harshest investment climate for
a generation. Despite this backdrop, I am determined to do whatever it takes
to ensure that this business now fully monetises its immensely valuable
repository of corporate disclosures and machine learning and data science
expertise. I will take whatever action is necessary to accelerate this
process.''

It is rather strange that the paragraph starts we a 'we'', yet then contains two ''I's'' Why didnt he say '' We are determined.........''

It seems to me that the Bod are not in unison and that RB has little faith in the Directors other than himself to drive the business forward to monitisation.

Add on the lack of any CEO comments in HY and I think its pretty obvious what's going to happen, especially with strategic advisors. With an Exec Chairman and CEO, just what are the CEO's responsibilities here, and what is he contributing?

Whilst RB references 'acceleration'', we do not actually know what the starting point is.

What a Mess.

JJ- The contracts have disappeared as INSG did not reference them.
All the above in my opinion only.

Jj

There is and has been a buyer nibbling away patiently on the bid side for about 5/6 weeks now. Very disciplined.

The 50k odd was a sell but that 150knlate was a buyer.. hence why it closed level.

?? yes. The ' strategic review' in disguise was a bit of a clue if that is what is happening or else why else would you temporarily employ a strategy adviser? All in my opinion only.
