LORS LOADS OF LOLLY.- I do not see these as profit warnings in the TRUE sense of the word.

If it had come from an old established company that was losing market share I would be worried ,but with a new young company ,continually come out with new products and selling into new markets ,how do you even begin to put a figure to what the turnover/profit will be in 3 months time,nevermind twelve .In the past HC has been guilty of getting slightly carried away, but he has learned his lesson and there are not many investors who would not concur with the sentiment that the latest targets are pretty undemanding for an outfit such as IDP>

As for the question of HC selling some shares ,he has stated categorically that this was to pay a tax bill.! Also, he still owns a large part of the company.


Therefore can this so-called profit warming business and sale of shares be finally put to bed instead of being rolled out over and over again.


IDP is NOW doing all the right things and steaming ahead like a good one.

Lets not keep knocking it but getting behind it and telling the rest of the world that they could well be looking at the "eighht wonder " in the making.

Official reprimands from ASA not just for Innovaderma of course. Alpecin have had their hand slapped this year. Part and parcel of the industry perhaps? Companies always looking to push the boundaries. Not that it is right if course!

Just to add a bit of balance from a "doubter". Which bit of "playing things pretty much just right" are you referring to teddy boy1? Is it the two profit warnings so far this year, the recent 750,000 share sale by the Chairman or the official reprimand from the Advertising Standards Authority for Skinny Tan's multiple false advertising claims?

Looking forward to that day (one day soon) when IDP has proved to those "doubters"that they have got it exactly right and are steaming ahead (both on the sales and profits front) .In the meantime lets give them the benefit of the doubt! After all ,they have played things pretty much just right so far,so as far as I am concerned we will not be disappointed .IDP will become a model company which will be copied by young go-ahead companies for years to come!

Slightly off? I already divided the figures by 4 and then still got revenue which is 3x current total revenue.I believe these are significantly undervalued, but those figures are fanciful.

BOOONBOON - So the calculations might be slightly out but either way ,trading is very ,very, good and bodes very well for the future!

Also, I see that the ACTUAL bid price is now edging upwards.

That must be an exceptionally busy store or you're extrapolating wrong. With 800 stores, £1000 a week would be over £40 million a year. It's clear we're nowhere near that.

Visited Superdrug Wed asked the two till girls how much Roots and Skinny they sell,

both sold regularly throughout the day Skinny more so, and their were 4 staff so replicate that,

i worked out the products they sold over 7 days tally'd up to apx 4-5k gbp

700-800 stores in uk not inc Boots in Aug or Europe this is a low mcap imo

The share price is definitely being ,"worked" again today but I am content in the knowledge that nothing has changed. This is par for the course for this share and within a few days ,up she will go again ! GOOD GAME!

Massive great spread this morning.The market makers seem to want to discourage people from buying IDP shares.Could they be trying to fill another big order as was the case a few days back? ( £45000 BUY) Seems the most likely explanation to me ,but time will tell)

Che7win This is all in the past.! HC has stated that the production and distribution problems have been sorted Do you really think that a company such as Boots would have dealings with them if they hadn,t been? No!

Also, HC has discovered that he is not super human, He cannot do it all on his own and that is why there will be announcement shortly to say that he has found a right hand man of the highest calibre .


Yes, mistakes have been made in the past ,but you learn from these and come out the other side even stronger.


HC is a very estute businessman and the fact that he owns so many shares in IDP means that he will work tirelessly to grow the business and the profits in order that one day soon he can sell it on and retire to the Maldives.

IDP is a young company which is continually evolving .The company which you see today is very different from the beast which we saw even 12 months ago.

In conclusion, why not switch to the winning side before it is too late? You used to LOVE IDP so I am sure you could easily fall back in love with it!

I would say teddy, you havent quite got the basics right.

See, your pumping here is having a neutral to negative effect, it smacks of desperation.

The bears have called this right - the company is erratic and prone to gaffs - such as stock levels and constant issues around that.
They have created lots of new products whilst lacking in a marketing budget.
They manage cash flow it seems by restricting production.

Haris said last year he liked to under promise and over deliver - the opposite has happened.

We have had conflicting RNS's on trading - and two profits warnings with Haris selling a substantial amount in between.

I don't believe these guys can manage growth consistently.

They will also need to raise cash AGAIN - at what price?

With the spread still pretty huge, it says an awful lot for this share that buyers are still happy to buy £5000 or £6000 worth. This gives me great encouragement for IDPs future. Everything is shaping up like a dream!

This is a share in a million and I will be eternally grateful to the Small Company Share Watch for bringing it to my attention!
