Agreed - I noticed that earlier. Approx 275 Express Mousse units available so let's hope they fly off the shelves tonight. SD's loss is IDP's gain.

I think the Express Mousse is priced incorrectly . It should be 25% off but is marked as 50% off

Skinny Tan seems to be selling across quite a few of AMAZON's geographic areas eg Germany, France, USA etc. Was this released in an RNS that I've not come across? I haven't followed this stock from initial listing so may not have seen it. If anyone can provide a link/date that would be great. If anyone has any sales data for sales via AMAZON that would be great too. Although my primary reason for investing here is Roots and the new products about to launch, I've been surprised by the strong Skinny Tan sales in Superdrug and it's made me interested to see how Skinny Tan is performing. (I know the trading update will/should give this but no harm in doing my own research!!). Joe

Roots has already sold just over 100 bottles today across the 5 products, stock was replenished around midday aswell although the spray is now sold out. Hopefully they get more stock in and items aren't out of stock too long. Joe

The current Skinny Tan sale at SD has really given a shot in the arm to sales. Croas based on your figures for last year I would say that the sales volumes are significantly higher, eg the Skinny Tan Express Mouse 1 Hour Tan on its own has sold c30 bottles in the last few hours. Although it is on a 50% sale it goes to show the demand is out there. Joe

Croas - just had a response from Roots FB as to why some SD don't stock all 5 Roots products, they didn't give a reason but did say 'Hi Joe, all Superdrug stores which stock Roots will have all 5 products from next week....' plus a little bit about how not all stores stock them and the best place to buy is from the Roots website. Croas - any numbers for Amazon? I remember the share price had an uplift for when SK stocked in ASOS.. I can imagine similar if Roots was to be stocked in Amazon. Alpecin/Plantur is stocked with hundreds of reviews. I can only imagine Roots will outsell once there too. Joe

Roots will be stocked in 530 stores from next week as they make space after Jan sales .. Roots new products will be launched in April ... styling and damaged hair products I think.I live in a small town 30k people with a small SD and noted Roots is now for sale though only 2 out of 4 .

Does anyone have any idea how Skinny Tan is performing on AMAZON.CO.UK? There are lots of products down to last few bottles but is this down to high demand and increased sales? Joe

For info SD sold approx 200 a day through the whole much smaller ST range in Jan 2017 - during the special offer - 100!-a day without special offer.No Body Glow for sale back then

Jam - Online Roots is now starting to push c100 bottles per day on average (across the 5 products). The treatment spray is now almost out of stock again (last few bottles). Everyone who has reported about the stock in stores and staff feedback seems to be that Roots is very popular and selling well. It only needs to sell 3 bottles per store per day for it to generate £5m revenue (excluding online sales) for SD (net to IDP is unknown as yet) (400 stores / 3 bottles / £12 average sale price). As for body glow I've only checked 30th to 3rd and it looks to have done an average of 60 per day across the product type with 1 item now being sold out. Again there will be an uplift due to NYE etc and whilst 60 p/d may seem low to some I didn't think it would do that well just online. Joe

I think there's still a few investors who bought in around £2 selling out for a short term profit. This swings to the downside quickly so it is possible to pick up more shares cheaper taking this approach. But it's easy to miss out on a rally on this one due to the low free float. Joe

On tracking sales for Roots I thought I'd take a look at Skinny Tan/Body Glow on SD. I've been really surprised by how well Skinny Tan overall is selling but especially Body Glow which is selling extremely well. Joe
