22/12/2004 11:03 | UK pubs were in focus in early deals after a government report yesterday cleared the sector of anti-competitive practices. According to Bridgewell Securities, the outcome was in line with expectations - benign. The broker believes the report was a good outcome for Punch Taverns, Enterprise Inns, Greene King and Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries. Enterprise Inns shares added 3-1/2 pence to 762, while second liners, Punch Taverns fell 5-1/2 pence to 665, Greene King moved 6 pence to 1305 and Wolves & Dudley were unchanged at 1098. | shawzie

22/12/2004 08:41 | hi Bozzy, have to say I don't really agree with your "jam today" point. Personally think that ARX are now well positioned to capitalise on any prospective orders, production facilities are in place & it seems the product has now reached maturity, with the order from Saudi suggesting little or no further development is required. Regarding INO, it was my understanding that they intend to make money by developing properties, establishing the business & then when successful, selling it on for a profit. IMHO this is some way off at the moment, with perhaps only Moss Cottage reaching some degree of maturity. IMHO both these companies require another 6/12 months to fully establish themselves, although I hope that incoming orders at ARX early next year will see the shareprice progress - together with INO whilst no doubt INO will make another acquisition pretty soon which may generate further interest, together with the chance that someone has started stakebuilding - although this isn't confirmed, just speculation at the moment regards | infinity
21/12/2004 17:37 | Not a bad turn for the MM - 100k@0.5p=£500 Clearly would have been willing to take more if they'd been offered ... so anyone thinking of offering tomorrow shouldn't offer at less that 9p (leave a bit in it for the MM). Although of course the buyer may choose to retire into the shadows for a few days ... let the price drop see if that shakes anyone loose then come back for more ... we'll see. Our buying is willing to pay over the odds and his appetite hasn't been satisfied today so we can expect further rises. And if anyone else wants to buy some shares that would nicely increase the squeeze! | ianreid
21/12/2004 16:59 | This is very much a case of a "Jam Today" company, in stark contrast to it's biggest investment which is a "Jam in a few years" company (ARX is not even close to being a Jam Tomorrow company). I would still expect a small loss in the October results, but next April's results should be better. I will try to re-invest around the middle of next year in anticipation of good April results. Fingers crossed (for my sake!) the share price remains underpriced. | bozzy_s
21/12/2004 16:54 | Ian Reid, take a bow!!! "May be a T trade show up at the close today" By the way, I know that there will be a revaluation of Moss Cottage, the result of which will be an additional bank loan, and a 4th acquistion. Such a bummer that I had to sell my holding. | bozzy_s
21/12/2004 16:53 | 100,000 sell at 15.26 - ianreid above? almost immediately marked as a buy share price it's not with the MMs? c'mon, don't be a Scrooge, give 'em yer stock and make somebody's Christmas - unless you want to see a better New Year! | hendenne
21/12/2004 16:30 | I'm pretty sure the MMs wouldn't be so short of stock ... there is a buyer around .... just a question of when he/she shows his/her hand. May be a T trade show up at the close today ... or if the order is large enough it can be held for 5 days (from memory) | ianreid

20/12/2004 11:18 | hendenne, if the guy is a stakebuilder he's no mystery: STEPHEN WICKS, chief exec, Country & Metropolitan - one of the South East's prestige housebuilders. question is if he is stakebuilding exactly what does he know that we don't? Maybe INO have dealings with Country & Metropolitan during their renovation programme or perhaps some future tie-up is on the horizon, certainly got me intrigued as well | infinity
20/12/2004 11:13 | Hendenne Good point re revaluations. | marvelman
20/12/2004 10:38 | Bid 8.3p Offer 8.9p max on bid is 150,000 somebody does VERY MUCH want INO stock, why? what is about to happen at/to INO? Will January show very good results, the balance sheet may be significantly stronger if properties have been revalued following refurbishment and successful trading..... Is the mystery stakebuilder a reality? Bozzy posted this on 11 December>>>>>>>>> Elsewhere Innobox shares jumped more than 20% in late afternoon trade following news that an investor has built up a sizeable stake in group. Innobox said that following an acquisition of 100,000 shares in the group, Stephen Desmond Wicks now holds a total of 450,000 ordinary shares, representing about 3.6% of the firm. In reaction to the stake-building, Innobox shares took on 1.37p at 8.12p. Aerobox was also a gainer, adding 0.12p at 16p, after the air cargo container company said it remains confident that 2005 will be the first full year of significant production and sales volumes. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Seems to be the start of a blue week. | hendenne |
