11/12/2004 22:50 | Et voila... (makes a good read all round so I copied the whole article)... SHARES in UK smaller companies closed strongly today, ending at the session peak. There was some positive corporate news and encouraging broker comments lifting sentiment, notably for Interactive Gaming which soared on acquisition news. At the close, the FTSE SmallCap index was 6.0 points firmer at 2,696.3 - the best levels for the day - having opened at a low of 2,690.6. Interactive Gaming was easily the top performer today, leaping nearly 49% - a rise of 3¾p -to 11½p, after the firm said it is in talks to buy a branded telephone credit bookmaker. The bookmaker, which made the announcement following the recent movement in its shares, added that the discussions are close to being finalised and due diligence is being carried out. Based on the current financial structure of the transaction the acquisition would not constitute a reverse takeover, Interactive Gaming said. Elsewhere Innobox shares jumped more than 20% in late afternoon trade following news that an investor has built up a sizeable stake in group. Innobox said that following an acquisition of 100,000 shares in the group, Stephen Desmond Wicks now holds a total of 450,000 ordinary shares, representing about 3.6% of the firm. In reaction to the stake-building, Innobox shares took on 1.37p at 8.12p. Meanwhile, director share buying was a spur to gains in Caplay today. The firm revealed that executive director Michael Feltham bought 250,000 shares or 0.13% in the company at 2.6p each today. Feltham did not previously hold shares in Caplay. Caplay shares added more than 14% in value, up 0.38p to 3p. Aerobox was also a gainer, adding 0.12p at 16p, after the air cargo container company said it remains confident that 2005 will be the first full year of significant production and sales volumes. And AEC Education, a provider of educational courses up to postgraduate level in Singapore and Malaysia, became the 1,000 company to list on the Alternative Investment Market today. Shares in AEC ended trading at 44p, a decent premium to the placing price of 41p. On a downbeat note, shares in Maisha lost 0.13p at 1.62p as news of its legal wrangles offset a narrowing of its pre-tax loss for the year to August to £253,000, from a loss of £395,000 a year earlier. The company is currently embroiled in a legal tussle over Pearl Micro Solutions, which it acquired in a reverse takeover in August. | bozzy_s

11/12/2004 22:20 | Tamay Nice post Regards | marvelman
11/12/2004 22:16 | Cheers Tamaybroke. It's been a long time since INO got a mention in the press! I guess that one line alone might attract a new buyer or two. | bozzy_s
11/12/2004 22:11 | Independent news, today: "Innobox 8.12p(up 1.37p 20.3%) Evidence of stake building boosts stock". | tamaybroke
11/12/2004 21:56 | bozzy,if Hendenne had sense he would of sold yesterday at 9p and all his problems would be over(and ours for that matter). Ironically i went to sell yesterday at 9p which would of gave me a nice little profit for Christmas but could not get in contact with my broker and their online trading service went down. I was not selling because i have no faith in this company but i did predict that MM's were messing around here and i was expecting a fall back like that by the end of the day,i was just planning on taking the oppurtunity of a nice little profit with the full intention of BUYING BACK IN again next week. p.s:bozzy you should keep posting,i spend a lot of time going through a thread of a particular company i may be thinking of investing in,not just hoping to get a balanced informed opinion on that company but to find one or two posters who may have called things right over the last year and who have been informative both on the positives and the negatives of that company and i will follow them on other companies also to see how consistent they are, they can indeed be very valuable when making your own decision. bozzy i believe you to be both passionate, and a believer in this company and i respect the fact you remind people not to invest on what you say,you dont mind people highlighing any negative FACTS and you try to reply with a reasonable answer. You also can take some consolation that there were very few people made a profit on INO Friday. I'm sure your sacrifice will be rewarding in the long run. | tamaybroke
11/12/2004 15:45 | Thanks Marvelman | bozzy_s
11/12/2004 15:17 | Haha How was that for a market call? the chart suggests it may hit 10P soon | energyi
11/12/2004 15:08 | Aerobox did jump first thing yesterday, so I guess the Innobox leap might have been a 4 hour delayed reaction. I suspect there was a mention on TV or Radio somewhere, which spooked the MMs into lifting the price. The rise certainly wasn't caused by big buying or reported news. | bozzy_s
11/12/2004 11:24 | SORRY FOR THE CAPITALS lol. | plast
11/12/2004 11:23 | HI ALL I THINK THE PRICE RISE IS ALL TO DO WITH AEROBOX CONTAINERS AND THE FACT THAT INNO HOLD SHARES IN THAT COMPANY. THIS WILL COME GOOD SOME TIME SOON THOU, | plast
11/12/2004 09:11 | Bozzy, if its any small consolation, I tried to buy 20,000 shares Friday morning, didn't like the price I was quoted and decided no. Then it goes up 25% in the afternoon!! Don't go away, your contributions are valued here. | rbryant
11/12/2004 01:06 | Chickenshack, you are being ungracious tyo sayu the least to bozzy, we are all face4d with decisions which we know are wrong, but circumstances prevail and deeds must be done as needs must. As an amatuer here i got spooked out of PDX at 107, held from 30p so not compl;aining, but hindsight is always 20:20. Look at PDX now!!! Ride on boz your OK. | scaleyman
11/12/2004 00:40 | No reply Hendenne? There was a 25k sell today, DON'T TELL ME THAT WASN'T YOU! Have you missed the boat again??????????????? | bozzy_s
10/12/2004 17:43 | Well bozzy - u have been such an avid 'positive poster' of INO - then you had to cash in at a negative price - that is quickly followed by a 20% rise - are you really a serious poster on this thread or what? all you seem capable of at the moment is posting aggressive rude comments - I just hope you don't own a dog during these harsh days of your life......... I trust that the rest of you people will continue to post positive comments and not be put off by bozzy's recent rudeness......INO really is a stock sitting in the hothouse and it's about to GROW.......remember, you read it here first.. It's such a pity that bozzy has become so aggressive as his earler posts were quite interesting..... | hendenne
10/12/2004 16:29 | ho ho ho bozzy, you sure know how to trade eh...... ho ho ho for such an aggressive chappie to sell his golden apples before they have grown must surely say something....... but don't worry, even if you buy in this afternoon you will still see some strong movement on Monday........ good weekend all good weakend bozzy........... ho ho ho | hendenne |
