11/5/2005 15:26 | 'possible launch of the company's upcoming spinal products in one or more major markets will also determine performance'. From what I learnt when researching Inion the spinal line is an innovation and will need much testing. So it will not be quick to market. I think the CEO is way too bullish. | simon gordon
11/5/2005 15:12 | 4.7m sold. | simon gordon
11/5/2005 14:51 | Looks like the bottom is turning on nearly every buy. Looking good for a decent bounce over the next few days... | crazi

27/1/2005 17:09 | I admit I was caught up in this exciting story. | simon gordon
27/1/2005 17:02 | The fundamental that changed for me was learning how much Bionx was bought out for by Conmed in 2003. And if you read the Prospectus you will learn how hard it will be to get to a $1B T/O. I recommend anyone who owns this share to get a copy of the prospectus. Which I have summarised above. It all comes down to research. | simon gordon
27/1/2005 16:59 | I phoned a investment health expert, then I got my hands on the Prospectus and after that I decided it was a well spun story! Research made me change my mind. I did make a small profit as I sold yesterday at £1.76! I bought at £1.73! | simon gordon
27/1/2005 16:52 | Simon Gordon says.... 21/1/05 Shares forum "But i am in this for the long haul so not bothered!" Well if you buy supposedly on fundementals, what has fundementally changed in the short time that you held these shares? Sorry matey, but you have done a good job of pumping Inion on 2bbs now and have took your profits, if that is not the antics of a pump and dump merchant then I dont know what is! | s h b
27/1/2005 16:24 | It's a story stock which the market loves. Personally I buy on fundamentals. If you are a trader this is a hottie! | simon gordon
27/1/2005 16:02 | Looking at the buys again today, your opinion appears to be in the minority! | s h b
27/1/2005 12:55 | I have sold my Inion shares, for after accumulating more information and adding to the existing available I came to the conclusion that the PMV of Inion is £50m. In 2003 Bionx a Finnish bio-implant company was bought by Conmed for $48m, it had T/O $18m. MacroPore sold it's bio-implant division to Medtronic for $21m. Have a look at the chart! The global market stands at around $200m for bio-implants. Surgeons are slow to change due to learning new techniques and the implants can be bulkier than metal. Clinical data is needed so as to market the story of Inion's super implants. This will take years! The Dental Implants face serious competititon and could be a distraction. As John McCormick (HealthPoint Capital) said, they need a blockbuster, and at the mo. they don't have one and will not have one in the near term. The bone growth implants for 2007 is probably optimistic. In fact I think the CEO is far too optimistic in general. $1B T/O looks extremely difficult to engineer. Inion have spun a good story but after digging deep I think it does not warrant it's current valuation. As a story stock the market could run with it for a while but when it crashes it will be violent. No doubt a buy note will come out soon. The finals at end Feb. with news on the spinal implant. All positive short term noise, it could hit £2.50 or £3.00 or it could as easily hit £1.00 or less. Good Fortune!!!! | simon gordon

21/10/2003 11:49 | no it aint rarther, no prices and this note, although in fact its no longer even showing fri prices... Technical difficulties We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and are unable to update portfolio and streaming data..The data displayed reflects the final prices from Friday 17th October 2003 . We are working to resolve this as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvience. in any case, most posters seemed to have moved to here. but, the portfolio facility allows the best quick way of seeing where your ports are ie profit, loss, date bought etc. i have dozens set up to follow different sectors at a glance. however, its just a rough guide as the prices are often left at close of day spreads. perhaps someone has come across a similar facility on another site? id love to know of one. | rambutan2 |
