2/10/06 management said:- it knows of no reason for the recent fall
in the company's share price. It confirmed that it remains confident of meeting the current market expectations.

Today it says:- Inion believes that its 2006 sales targets will not be met. The Board anticipates that revenues for 2006 will be approximately €5.7 million and therefore below current market expectations.

Once again management have shown their Incompetence.

If Revenues are only going to be €5.7 million how big will be the loss and cash burn? Rate of sales has DECLINED since the 1st half. Pretax losses were €6 million in 1st half, R&D up sales down could be looking for a loss of between €7 tyo €9 million (imo&dyor). This needs a rapid t/o or trade sale to give the poor investors back a fraction of their investment - UNLIKELY - Probably a rescue dilutive rights if any idiots will support.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e mail which was forwarded to me for response.

I have set out below some expected newsflow items planned for the next 6 months together with an explanation for the recent decline in the share price.

As we announced at our Interim results, with the recent changes in the Board, we are reviewing strategy and the results to this review will be announced in Q1 2007. We also announced that we were at an advanced stage of negotiation with a potential candidate for the position of CCO. We should be in a position to announce the results to this within the next few weeks. There are other small news flow items due, such as the announcement of a research grant, and we are expecting to receive a 510(k) for a sports product at the end of the year.

Obviously some things cannot be open to the public presently

Rumours elsewhere that Corin (CRG) are about to make an acquisition. Seems to me IIN would be a possible target, so maybe not an MBO but conceivably a bidder. I have no position in either but used to hold IIN.

Word is that something is about to be announced.
There was a piece on it in last weeks FT,staing the management were about to do a deal and had purposely kept the price down.
News is filtering out now of 40p.
MM tried there best the morning to spook any shares out they could.

Inion again says no reason for slide

Struggling medical implant group Inion gave its share price a lift today as it said there was no reason for the hammering its shares have taken over the past six weeks.

"Inion notes the recent decline in the company's share price and confirms that it is not aware of any reason for this decline. The company announced interim results for the 6 months to 30 June 2006 on 5 September, and remains confident of meeting the current market expectations, which were updated at the time of the interims," it said.

The Finnish group issued a similar statement in early October, but that did nothing to reverse the slide in the shares, which have lost over 70% of their value this year.

Looks like they've allowed the price to drop in the hope of securing an MBO at a very low price. Certainly calls into question the statement they made last month re knowing of no reason for the fall in the share price. This is certainly suspicious and if the FT is to be believed their should be an investigation by the LSE.
