07/8/2010 07:46 | Good post as usual eacn. The point you raise re a veto retained by INFA - is surely a very long shot indeed. Here we have a situation where the company has been leading us all on for 2 years and at the end has flogged 50% of the company to ecorp for a "desperate" £22m. This, at least to me gives the distinct impression that Hindle and co are unlikely to have been clever enough to negotiate such a veto - giving us the feeling, as they do that they could not negotiate their way out of their own front doors. ecorp were in the end the "only game in town" and have snapped up a bargain (at our expense) If I am wrong and our Board do indeed have the veto you refer to - I for one will be very surprised BUT delighted. | mina123golf2
05/8/2010 10:29 | The terms of the ecorp deal are critical. If it allows INFA to retain control or a veto when it comes to setting terms for future fund raising then there is a hope that INFA shareholders will see an upside to their investment. If not, then when further funds are required ecorp will have the whip hand: they have cash, INFA does not. I am told that INFA has retained a veto, but I am not party to the details. I am not confident that the BOD have been smart enough in their negotations with ecorp. Imo the investment case for INFA now hangs on this point, and shareholders should focus on extracting the details of the terms of this veto from the company. The slim hope is that HMG, OFGEM or its replacement (if there is to be one), will eventually intervene and mandate operators to lease storage capacity. Were that to happen there would be a sea change in INFA's position. I do not, however, regard this as a high probability outcome. | eacn
04/8/2010 11:22 | the 3rd quarter newsflow you refer to was to do with dd on the now abandonded cooperation group funding was it not?? not happening. oh and the signing of construction contracts for construction to begin before the end of this year...not happening either as no funding. the ecorp deal has negated all earlier announcements of timetables etc and ecorp will not be drilling until summer 2011 so not much newsflow for quite a while. i have not suggested that the company is worth zero and have repeatedly pointed out they are trading at a discount to the implied value of the ecorp deal and that i hope that their involvement means we can rescue some shareholder value after the balls up the current management have made of the twice failed project funding. but i don't see anything significant now this year, seminar, details of ecorp finalised...but a long haul to get this funded and properly up and running. oh and what's your target 165p based on...not impossible given a few years and a very strong breeze but very punchy considering we have just diluted our interests so much. | kooba
04/8/2010 11:03 | It was the title that got me. | bionicdog
04/8/2010 10:19 | Not on here you won't. | bionicdog
04/8/2010 09:37 | I spoke with Hindle yesterday kept banging on about this gas seminar in September, I think all will come clear after this event and you may see quite abit of interest in the stock. | dicko80
04/8/2010 08:49 | Well my last top up was in the placing at about £1. The project had all the ingredients to be very successful. From my point of view I invested becuase I believed the potential upside story put out by the management. I thought Hindle would pull it off although I had reservations about his lack of experience. On this thread we examined the NPV models using different %s for funding and cofs, but in the end Hindle has failed to deliver the story he told the city. The man should go quietly and work in a planning office. In my view he is not fit to be an MD. | holism
03/8/2010 20:25 | Hi mina123golf2 I'm just ahead of you .92p seems a lifetime ago. But completely agree with your argument. | whiters
03/8/2010 19:32 | Whiters Many are the investors with this company who have said the same thing. I disagree with you that it was necessarily greed that kept us all "in". I think there was a genuine belief that finance would be obtained and that we were on a winner. After all £455m is not a colossal sum to raise.I have a break even point of around 81p which I am far from certain will ever be achieved. However having been in this for so long I think I can wait a bit longer and hope for the best. Is is quite possible if ecorp get the project moving as seems likely - this in itself may generate interest from other sources and we might just see this through to completion, although heaven knows the amount of dilution that may take place before then | mina123golf2 |
