No data on this one guys but looking at a weekly candle chart I'd say that it's just completed a morning star pattern and therefore upwards it should go. Certainly been some above average trade volumes though not continuous. Be careful with shorts imho.

Currently no position but intrigued by bullish pattern. trade what u see etc.

I do not understand why this seems to be rising, and would be interested if anyone can give me a sensible reason.

Its balance sheet is horrendous, very highly geared, exceptionally high intangibles from acquisitiuons, little liquid assets. and to my eye looks like it will have problems meeting its short term liabilities unless profitability picks up.

Its core business is publishing and events.

Ad revenue outlook has to be appalling (more so today after WPP statement).

Its sponsoirship/ events areas is predominately in 3g mobile phones, insurance & financials. ( not areas expanding their cost bases I'd have thought)

looks to have acquired business expensively.

Unless there is a shocker in results next month, it would look to be a rights issue candidate to my untrained eye.

so why is it going up ?

if anyone has any ideas I'd be very grateful, as its perplexing me.

CURRY

True, we could do with a bit more inflation in the system.

But, you may be wrong about mounting pressure to put up interest rates. The REAL fear now is that the Fed will cut rates again, if they do, we will all be in deep sh*t, as this would indicate a Japan like economic scenario; this would be the worst scenario possible. In which case....

....anyone for a 10 year bear market!?!

YOU CANT WIN THIS ONE CUTTYPASTY. NO INFLATION MEANS STAGNANT ECONOMY MASSIVE DEBT AND RECESSION. INFALTION MEANS STRIKES RIOTS AND ANARCHY, PLUS BANKRUPTCIES, CREDIT CRUNCHES ALSO LEADING TO RECESSION.

DEPRESSION IS MORE THE WORD WE CONSIDER APPROPRIATE. 2004-2015. WE HAVE ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT A LONG TIME AGO.

ALL IN OUR OPINION.
