31/12/2008 16:53 | All the best to IIR holders in the New Year! Wish you fat dividends and a happy trading on alternative market. | fatso
17/12/2008 09:03 | You'd like to bl00dy think they would, the LSE appear to be raising the profile of PSQ somewhat so they [the LSE] might finally pull their finger out & launch the dam thing. We will be rid of JE&P shortly as well so won't be seeing their fees anymore - given they seem to have not been overly helpful in sorting the IP roadblock out & also appear to be struggling to produce a research report then good riddence imo. | james 2
16/12/2008 10:59 | Fair point. Lets hope some of these new revenue streams kick in 2 replace them and maybe they will suprise us with something new! Feeling more positive about prospects than i did when we were suspended and they were arguing internally. | rob67
16/12/2008 10:52 | FWIW My post a couple of days back on 2H Fcst excludes the exceptional item, there are plenty of other variables but it was just a simplistic view to take account of the Fx change. | james 2
16/12/2008 08:59 | I agree Rob, but we just need to be careful how we extrapolate results going forward based on these - plus we have the research settlement ending at the back end of next year. Our hopes have been dashed on this a few times now so I don't want to rebuild mine again too quickly until it is clearly merited! | scrapheap
15/12/2008 17:31 | yes it does - so results are good but not as good as they first might seem | scrapheap
15/12/2008 16:56 | does the profit include the exceptional item? | scrapheap
15/12/2008 15:30 | if EPS, say 2.8p, full year, then what about some divi at the year-end? say, 0.5p would do for the starters. 0.5p buys a lot of curries in Mumbay if employees hold a bundle of shares. | fatso
14/12/2008 12:16 | knew i should have offered 5p (instead of 2p) for the 50k i bid for in the last couple of listed days... | fft
13/12/2008 15:54 | LOL They should have let one of the Indian analysts look over the numbers first. Certainly a reassuring set of numbers though & good to see they are still happy to release reports \ forecasts despite being delisted. Using their currency forecasts we should see profit after tax in 2nd half of approx £300k on flat revenues, giving a FY of £690k or £460k excl exceptionals even before any tailwind from PSQ \ reduced cost of listing etc. EPS is higher than the share price at delisting :o) | james 2
12/12/2008 13:33 | Ironic that their business is investment research ! | joe say
12/12/2008 13:26 | i emailed them... | scrapheap
12/12/2008 08:43 | I haven't had a good look at the numbers, but this announcement stood out: Core assets We continue to take the steps necessary to buttress the Group's intellectual property. The Group is in the process of completing a purchase of core IPR from the Smith Trust and this newly-strengthened foundation for the Group's activities has created the conditions necessary and appropriate for the Group to further invest in creating new IPR which is expected to make significant contribution to future growth. The repatriation of these core assets has, in addition, provided a solid base so that exploration has been facilitated with new potential investors, to grow aggressively to capitalize on new order emerging in the investment banking space. Conditions are more difficult than earlier in the year when these discussions first arose, but we are hopeful that a compelling opportunity may emerge in due course. In the meantime, the Group's activities are cash flow positive and the Group has a continued overdraft facility with Barclays Bank and a comfortable working capital position. The current level of organic growth is funded from revenues. Research on the Group remains important in the context of funding for more aggressive organic growth plans. The Group has paid John East and Partners, its former Nominated Adviser and Broker whose contract does not formally end until on 31 December 2008, to provide a research report on the Group for the benefit of shareholders and prospective investors. Whilst a number of drafts have been produced, this work has not yet been completed and the Group is working to ensure that a final report is produced as expected. Looks like we have a bullish nomad report to look forward to in the new year. Perhaps, even, staying put here might yet turn out to have been a good decision. I can dream..... | lord gnome
11/12/2008 23:38 | interim results are out on the IIR website if any of you are still out there!! look ok to me and good news is lehman/barclays are still using us. research note from john east due out before the end of december and their contract ending! a few concerns in what SS reports and I think their EPS is wrong as 0.14p looks too small for a whacking 380k profit... unless we've been diluted by a share issuance already which we don't know about!!! | scrapheap
01/12/2008 13:21 | Hooray! Got mine as well, all 260K of them. Hold nominal number with iDealing, also. Not worth persuing the matter as the costs would exceed the value of shares. One day, my sons, IIR will return to LSE, high and mighty. Then we might laugh after all. | fatso
28/11/2008 19:28 | Got my very valuable share cert today! | rob67
28/11/2008 13:08 | Disappointing - nothing out from IIR and now month end, give or take the weekend. IAF doing an 'iir' but we sounded rather more bullish... | scrapheap
23/11/2008 09:19 | mine in a nominee account if i want the share certificate i just ask otherwise it stays there for safe keeping (i emailed to find out) | fatfish
22/11/2008 23:42 | Hi all Long time no type. Not got my share cert either. hope you are all well. Crazy days at the moment but this may come good one day Good luck | gimme sunshine
19/11/2008 13:38 | Thanks for the info, traffic looks like it is being driven by China. According to shares mag PSQ is imminent | james 2 |
