Thanks everyone, but I need to get to the top by name, not necessarily category so much. Unfortunately, I am not listed at all. I know about meta tags but I understand that to be listed with Google and Yahoo, other sites have to link to me to show my "importance" and I can't get competitors to link to me LOL! I applied to list well over 6 weeks ago and nothing. I mean, what's wrong with my site? Don't they have a need for Blonde Donkey Bonkers ??
Just joking! It's a radio site! Won't bore or plug it here but it's perfectly harmless and has some good links on it but no one there will link to me for obvious reasons.

I'll try Uneedhits, but the Search Engs are no use to me I'm sure because I don't really care about meta tag engines and keyword engines, only Yahoo and Google because they get most the traffic.

If you are realy serious about getting to the top of all the search engines, you need to speak to The Searchengineers!

no promo but it is easy and 30 s.engines were free when I did it.
Have had no spam resulting

pls be aware that largely speaking automatic search engine submission tools are basically a scam in which you get exposed to potentially thousands of spam merchants.

allways submit to the top engines manually and ignore lesser ones

You might find these two links of use:

make sure you have metatags
then make sure the keywords are good ones
make sure u have meta title
and also put keywords in heading
finally build your keywords in the body copy of you site

if u dont understand all these i shall check back and clarify

Google or Yahoo take upo 6 week's for your listing to appear..
Also make sure your Meta Tags are working for u.
