16/9/2004 16:01 | Explorer88 You are a bit one dimensional in you analysis of IMX's fortunes, albeit the company's turnover suggests they will run out of cash soon. I have had a look at their accounts and cannot see the 8m borrowings, can you explain where this debt is? I am holding as there are still a number of possibilities for this company in a time of unprecedented NHS I.T. spending | red_fred
16/9/2004 11:04 | there used to be a penny share broker that pushed these from time to time - they first bought in large numbers and then sold them on | maut too

13/9/2004 12:53 | mikepearce45 Thanks for info. You say the old Directors bought the remnants for a song, do you know what name they trade under? | ironhorse
13/9/2004 10:59 | Is this one of the remnants of the old IMS Group that went bust in 2002? If it is I should have a look at there track record for ripping of there shareholders in that business. From Maysum's summing up it seems as if it could be. | ironhorse
13/9/2004 10:48 | Explorer- well called....... Appreciated. | el cuerpo
13/9/2004 09:14 | Good management is someone who can build a successful company, what has this lot achieved in many long years in charge? Sold next to nothing, spent all the cash invested in the company and accumulated £8m of debt. They will carry on drawing their hugh salary and enjoy the company provided luxury until the end. ;-))) | maysun
13/9/2004 08:31 | d6 - just taking my son to school, but in brief... IMX has decent management with IT solutions which have clinical functionality which will be required by the NPfIT. It now looks like IMX will survive long enough to cash in on the NPfIT bonanza - either on their own or as part of isoft or IDX. Must dash... | explorer88

09/9/2004 19:20 | It looks like IMX will be bought by isoft or IDX | explorer88

08/9/2004 11:57 | IMX is a situation where you could lose your shirt or make a 1000% gain in 3 years. High risk, High reward... | explorer88
26/8/2004 16:20 | explorer88 - 18 Aug'04 - 22:38 - 89 of 90 I believe that there is now an 80-90% chance that the shares will be suspended (probably early next year). If I was an investor in IMS I would bail out now before the plane crashes. Looks like many are taking that advice. | el cuerpo
19/8/2004 00:16 | Explorer88 Thanks for that. It confirms what I begin to sense about IMS. I would like to know which first tier providers have IMS signed up. | bill.slygo
18/8/2004 22:38 | Bill I've been thinking about re-investing in IMS Maxims for some time. The story of NHS IT spend in the next few years is very compelling and IMS seem to have good products and decent management. However, I believe that there is now an 80-90% chance that the shares will be suspended (probably early next year) if the company is not bought by IDX or isoft (which seems likely and imminent). Bill - hope this helps. This is not a de-ramp. If anyone has a different perception, or a more in depth insight into why IMS should be preferred over the likes of IDX, I'd certainly be interested to hear it... | explorer88
18/8/2004 12:37 | Bill You're correct in focusing on whether IMS will survive long enough to cash in on the NHS spending bonanza. The loan notes will help in the short term. Whilst 5.5p and a market capitalisation of £8million may appear good value, my analysis is that there is a 75% chance that IMS will run short of funds and be sold to IDX or isoft - hence the recent rapid decline in the share price. All IMHO. | explorer88
13/8/2004 11:59 | What worries me about IMS is not the proven quality of products but whether it can survive long enough to cash in.....the feeling is that they are feeling the pinch....recent loan note etc. Does any one have a view on this? When will revenues from Clatterbridge contracts kick in? And does anyone know which front line providers they are tied in with... this could be key factor. Holding these three years now!!! bill. | bill.slygo
11/8/2004 10:30 | This co is building such an armoury that soime day shortly someone will take notice BIG TIME. KK | kemorkid |
