It's impressive how big this trust has become. £1.4 billion. That's a good size. How did that happen? They must have have heavy Institutional demand for new shares.

I've bought back here this morning that this rises in a general recovery that might follow a peace deal in Ukraine.

The premium got too big, but it has gone for the moment.

purchased some of these yesterday as part of a play on Biden giving the green light on green energy. Also purchased some INRG clean energy etf. Only allowing 5% of portfolio as some green valuations look aa bit crazy. I have no way of picking winners in this sector so happy to go with a portfolio approach. I do also have some IP which produced Ceres.

All good, looks like the portfolio has everything except Tesla! 2020 looking like the ESG take off year (about a decade in the making), Tesla being the hyped flag carrier of big things to come. This is a long distance race - multi decades - so won't just be about any one investment.

I bought a few more with Hargreaves Lansdown this very morning - no problem there. It's a publicly quoted share, an investment trust on the LSE, so I can see no reason why it should be restricted. Sounds like a rubbish excuse to me.

Halifax sharedealing will no longer allow me to deal in Impax Enviro shares....says they are advised to no longer let private investors do so! Anyone else come across this? Came up when they didn't reinvest recent dividends.

Yes Luckymouse. I bought in at £2.05 having watched these steadily increase over the past year, and they still keep going. I also like the fact there is a share buy back scheme in operation thereby reducing the shares in circulation. Tempted to buy more on any weakness

I wonder if they will consider winding the trust up/unitising following the Asian equivalent.

It's been a good performer in the last 18 months, but cant see them trading on a premium again!
