Indeed you couldn't script it !

Unblinding of data & results analysis coincides with the time she would have been travelling to Morocco which coincides with French air traffic disruption...jeez

Will this drama never end - you could not make it up!

It was discussed here before that if results were bad she would just cancel the presentation. I agree she would want and need to be there for the unblinding also before results are even known. Or could simply be logistics?

This strike is really badly timed as far as speculation is concerned! Can we PLEASE just have the results??!

Waterloo - this rumour has already jumped to the LSE board - do you have a link / details to stop this getting out of hand?

Of course there are two reasons why she would cancel.

Hi Waterloo

where did you find the info that she has cancelled ? Would certainly make sense for her not to be in Morocco at the pivotal moment in the trial - I'm sure she will be directly involved in the results analysis and could hardly do that if she was in North Africa.

This would also have put a spanner in the works:-

I take a lot of comfort from the SCSW article. Who else has actually got to talk directly to the company recently? Much can be ascertained from a face to face interview ,and this could be part of the reason why the article has been written with an air of confidence .!

I was thinking through Muller's talk in Morocco and given that they are this weekend working on the analysis, with results anytime this coming week and possibly Monday, that she wouldn't want to be out the country. Results good or bad, she would want to be available for congratulations/commiserations.

I've done some research and she has indeed cancelled it, with the French transport strike given as the reason.

Makes sense. Whatever the results no way she wants to be doing a talk at the embassy in Rabat as her life's work is revealed!

If the results are excellent I reckon you'll be hard pressed to buy for a fiver on results day. I'd certainly be trying to fill my boots at that price.

I wouldn't normally do this as it isn't fair to subscribers, but to avoid the misunderstandings and mis-statements that this thread is prone to here are the key points from the SCSW item:-

- SCSW met with the company in the last month
- Simbec Orion has spent the last few weeks cleaning up the data and ensuring it has been accurately input into the database
- Database lock and unblinding will be on 6 April
- Analysis of data will be done and top line results available in the following week (i.e this coming week)
- After the results IMM will be anywhere from 30p to 500p+ depending on the outcome
- Hopes for the latter given earlier trial data was good and the safety profile excellent
- IMM has appointed a European M&A specialist
- A bid at a multiple of the price is inevitable on success.

So how can we distinguish any large sells next week from shorters taking advantage and the cleaner at IMM who is selling before news after hearing the discussion?

Thanks from me, too, miavoce. I apologise for re posting what I had, mistakenly it seems, assumed to be an accurate statement of what scsw had said.

Tempting to go and hang out outside the Imm offices next week, try and get a read on the body language of Tim, Demetrious etc. See if any of them head over to their local lambo dealer.

It may be feasible marwalker - I wouldn't rule it out but I guess midweek onwards may be more likely.

Are we talking company results or trial results as company results will be pretty meaningless on their own.
