31/12/2005 00:41 | myoldmate - Thanks! We are now on the same wavelength. I dipped my toes in the water with a small purchase on the strength of last published results. I will add as and when I believe the time is favourable. In the last edition of Growth Co. Investor there was a BUY recommendation for IDH. They showed results as follows - Turnover PTP EPS P/E (£m) (£k) (p) 2004(A) 4.46 234 1.7 58.8 2005(A) 5.44 412 2.7 37.0 2006(E) 7.56 1,209 7.6 13.2 2007(E) 8.76 1,910 11.4 8.8 You may already be aware of the above but if not it may be of some assistance. | george19
30/12/2005 23:14 | Hello George. Fingers posted his TA because I asked him to. IDH looks very interesting at the moment and I'm thinking of having a punt but it's had a good run recently and I wanted an unbiased opinion of whether there was any petrol left in the tank. I think it was a positive analysis, and as fingers said if it closes above £1.15 I'm in sharpish! | myoldmate
30/12/2005 13:52 | fingers - thank you for that. Most interesting, although I am not in to charting etc. I was still able to understand the implications. I am a small holder at the moment but I am watching this one. As a non-holder it was kind of you to post. | george19
20/12/2005 10:27 | silverfern - I believe you're right. I bought 3k at 09.30 this morning and I think they have a lot further to go. | george19
19/12/2005 16:49 | I will buy more on any weakness up to next results; remains undervalued upto 150p in my opinion | silverfern
07/12/2005 08:44 | yep; hardly like tracking Barclays trades is it! I tried to buy more than that online but there are limits. Sometimes a good thing. My holding is around 12k now. | silverfern
06/12/2005 22:24 | Good man! That 5k was yours then? :o) | philmiboots
06/12/2005 10:36 | I've just bought a load more - anyone else out there? | silverfern
27/11/2005 20:57 | If this keeps quiet (ie no bad news) I will buy more each month til mid 06 when I hope the rpice is 130-40 then wait and see. Happy New Year if we don't talk til then! | silverfern
13/11/2005 13:25 | good post in the Investor's Chronicle on the company | alftupper
08/11/2005 18:55 | well. i tried to buy last week, but only 1000 available. If it comes back a little I will only buy more, and if it doesnt I still might! | silverfern
07/11/2005 08:24 | LONDON (AFX) - Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings PLC, a producer of diagnostic testing kits, saw first half profits surge, pushed upwards by strong sales in its US and German divisions. The group sees a "very positive" outlook, expecting further growth in the UK and USA, winning new contracts in Germany and its new operations in France. Turnover during the six months to Sept 30 leaped 49 pct to 3.72 mln stg. Operating profit for the period was 436,000 stg against 96,000, the pretax profit was 387,000 stg against 57,000 while the basic earning per share was 2.51 pence against 35.8. newsdesk@afxnews.com ec | philmiboots
07/11/2005 07:13 | They've come in at 2.5p per share for six months so likely - given what trhey say about futher progress - we will see between 6-7p for the year. The figures and the words look very encouraging so could be more | silverfern
27/10/2005 09:21 | Thanks Penpoint - I pulled in the eps in my own (guestimate) to £0.7m and 5p per share because I expect R&D/admin to scale up (no more technical than that). But the conclusion that they are undervalued is the same! | silverfern
26/10/2005 06:28 | Watch this space - the interims are due soon and this will be an indication of whether T&G's forecasts will be met | alftupper
20/10/2005 12:02 | silverfern: The numbers in bold are eps for years ending 06 and 07 and the numbers preceding these are pretax profit (m). The growth between the two years is spectacular and suggests to me that a price of at least 150p is possible if both sets of figures are achieved. | penpont
17/10/2005 13:00 | Penpoint- You'll have to provide more than random numbers please but my suggestions are in the thread. | silverfern
12/10/2005 08:32 | Alf, no need to shout about it mate. | silverfern
09/10/2005 13:30 | Silverfern I think you are right. | alftupper
29/9/2005 18:52 | Turnover 5.435 (m) Profit 0.212 (m) EPS - Basic6.44 PE ratio 11.258 Mkt Cap 9.9 (m) and now.... Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings PLC, a producer of diagnostic testing kits, said sales for the first five months of the year are in line with expectations and have jumped 40 pct from the same period to end August 2004. Right, now you can do your own research but I think this looks quite good. | silverfern
06/9/2005 18:27 | Great news. A 40% increase suggests t/over of £9m this year and maybe - bit of estimated guesswork here - profits of £700k. With last year's margins holding that gives £4.5m I've allowed for increased R&D, no acquisitions, increased working capital and so on. That would mean 5p per share and a p/e of 13 - a p/e of 20 would better reflect the potential and importantly the turnover increase they are now able to deliver 80-90p at Xmas would be a fair reflection DYOR of course | silverfern |
