Does anyone know if the award-winning Gorilla Trek is also in the HBE offering, or was the nice award presentation and the IMMO mission statement about Zoo expansion just sticking 2 fingers up at investors ?

A reminder Mcfly

Only a few months ago they were going to almost give it away and the LBE was going to be the making of the company.

Remember “‘over 400 headsets was going to land straight on the bottom line” . They then get to 500 and flog it off.

They seem to be advocates of headless chickens.

Bearing in mind that the initial investors have been burnt , I doubt they would have much confidence going forwards.

Each to their own I suppose, and I am sure the next lot of cannon fodder will clutch on to the hope that they do well on the next part of their search for the holy grail.

"Although Higginson stated he was not involved in any way with the new investors, I would like clarification that none of the main existing shareholders are involved with the new owners."

Well I think that is something we won't get to find out, but it would be nice to think that the benefits that might occur longer term from the LBE business, won't flow nicely into the pockets of people who got it at a snip.

Not that it’s going to change anything, but it beggars belief , that after a year or so in the test production of the container offerings , they announce that they are 3 times more expensive to make and install than the normal units , and can’t afford them.

Did they not do costings before embarking on this experiment ?

Now they are left with the part of the business that not so long ago they were going to almost give away.

Have the products been improved ?, has new content been added ?

No, of course not

In Immotion speak, It’s all coming soon.

After the dividend (Which I suspect will be higher than the quoted 3p), I won’t be lingering in the hope that the next start up gets lucky.

We never once heard anything about the take up numbers for the gorillas.

Although Higginson stated he was not involved in any way with the new investors, I would like clarification that none of the main existing shareholders are involved with the new owners.

I’m sure everyone that bought recently is over the moon, but the rug is being pulled from a load of other investors who bought because of the LBE business model, not to be involved in another startup.

I suppose a smaller loss is the best option.

A name change for the HBE would be good, with a flurry of publicity and get a load more punters investing, then can perhaps get out closer to break even.

"... the value of the investments of holders is now just small change and not worth selling for, and that there there are few if any prospective new purchasers who see a future for the company..."

"... There is nothing to lead a hardheaded investor interested only in a return on his money to think any of that is about to change. Its simply not investable. Sad, but true..."

Just blew your credibility as a commentator out of the water matey.

Private equity probably the most hard-headed investors that exist.

Without a trading update , then investors are left completely in the dark.

They have said how pleased they were with their new openings and the number of seats thresholds needed for profit had been surpassed.

Have they been sneaky and taken the profitable side private for themselves and screwed the investors over ?

Surely it’s a question that has to be asked.

hatfull, I don't think that shows that the MMs are playing games. Surely it suggests that the value of the investments of holders is now just small change and not worth selling for, and that there there are few if any prospective new purchasers who see a future for the company?

Its a shame, because the people seem a decent bunch and worked a miracle to keep the company afloat at all during the lockdowns. The fact remains though that even before the lockdowns and when its visionary founder was still alive the company had proved a money pit for investors. Any capable employee who knows his stuff and wants to provide security for his family is bound to be scanning the 'sis vac' pages. Wouldn't you? There is nothing to lead a hardheaded investor interested only in a return on his money to think any of that is about to change. Its simply not investable. Sad, but true.

Anyone remember the results presentation they did , when they admitted they were letting their investors down regarding communication and said they would improve .

Come on guys, you read the boards and are quick to get irritated by criticism.

But the share price is atrocious, the communication atrocious, the failure to meet deadlines atrocious.

Few weeks, coming soon , blah blah blah

You really can’t blame investors for getting frustrated.

I can’t see your gorilla offering on any of the zoo maps. How is that even possible ?

If you have just doubled turnover , then then I am sure investors will quickly overlook the irritating traits.
