Doing well on the back of the oil price spike. Actually doing well against the downgrades. Still confident on the fundamentals.

Disappointing write up in the Times yesterday, gave IMI an "avoid" due to weakening demand from Oil and Automotive sectors. Nothing nasty, just thinks there are better other stocks to buy. I'll continue to hold.

StockRanks are misleading on a high % of times,i often have to look through the accounts to evaluate eps.IMI basic eps is 62.5 (once you eliminate exceptional's),(which I find re occur most of the times),adjusted eps is 17.3,stockpedia normalised eps is 17.3,so it throws out a lot of value metrics.

Well blow me! I decided to top up this morning, when the share price was 798p, and it closed at 812.5, almost 2% up. Has sentiment changed, I wonder?
