I fully expect a sell off.
They will really struggle to obtain a whole company sale unless they significantly discount the share price
More likely that buyers walk away for now.

The RNS said

and

There are of course always leaks, but it appears this process is not as public as might normally be the case.

Either the institution that is 42 million shares long (and still buying at approx. the current price) or you being short is right. Time will tell....

I think that even on news of a bid , that the share price here would still then fall - there is so much short term speculative interest in the current share price

Given that there are supposed to be several interested parties, you'd have thought that one of them would have snapped IMG up by now !
If , for example , you are one of 3 parties that are interested in a house then you know that you have to get in quick with an offer.
Strange that they are still in preliminary discussions.
What happens if there is not an acceptable bid for the whole business - does IMG just carry on trading as before ?
Surely that would mean a big fall share price wise.

It’s a well-known fact on these forums. I have lost count how many times I have made a post and before the page has even refreshed to show my post it already has multiple votes.

Watch your own posts, it doesn’t happen every time but often posts appear with votes either instantly or within seconds of posting. The votes appear before anyone even has a chance to read what you put.

Laugh as much as you want on patents. There are enough cases where IMG patents did protect company’s and enough cases where others due to lack of patents had major problems.

EDIT: What a surprise my post has what looks like an automatic vote again. I have a suspicion its not random but based on key words written.

EDIT: Anyone else noticed votes which appear to fast to be human? I wonder if this key word I planted will put my votes up more. EDIT: Dose automatic bots votes give an auto down?
