17/12/2016 00:06 | Just to show that what goes around comes around- Unfortunately it repeats the flawed Linley comments exposed by TW in a recent post. Also repeats the comment - "By far, Nvidia is still the best mobile GPU maker, but their sights are currently set on automotive and machine learning applications." Such mindless Plagierism ! | bukko
16/12/2016 17:09 | Renesas America 2 new RZ/G1N and RZ/G1H Groups of MPUs with Power VR | bukko

15/12/2016 18:02 | And providing interoperabilty test facilites are key in the environmanet of many vendors products and provide a major commerial selling point to a potental licencee, who will have cofidence that ENSIGMA inside their product will interork with all the products from other companies. From Dave's link - "Imagination operates extensive interoperability and testing labs using more than 100 test devices to support customers in meeting pre-certification requirements for Wi-Fi Alliance certifications and pre-qualification requirements for various regulatory bodies. This enables a seamless experience for customers in achieving success and enabling quick deployment of their final products to meet their time to market goals." | colsmith
15/12/2016 16:52 | Richard Edgar's comments about 'demand' are the most interesting part of the press release. Ensigma is at last delivering its promise it would seem S | sweenoid
13/12/2016 16:20 | rjwooll There are 9 products listed as being caskeid enabled, 6 pure and 3 PEAQ | twatcher
13/12/2016 16:09 | All ok now. | bukko
13/12/2016 15:23 | If it actually worked - Onkyo never knowingly released a Caskeid enabled product, despite having a license and IMG taking a shareholding. | rjwooll
12/12/2016 09:50 | sounds like apple should have licensed Caskeid. | twatcher
11/12/2016 20:28 | Options should be tied to performance not what the receiver potentially brings to the game. Too often they provide a payday regardless of long term share price performance. | milesy
10/12/2016 21:11 | You think the cleaners had share incentives ? | twatcher
10/12/2016 10:36 | imo img have been paying ftsee 100 salaries to small cap people for years, with a few exceptions. if this guy is actually worth his money then fine, time will tell. As usual I do not see much evidence of cut backs and tight controlling of costs effecting upper management levels. | nearlythere
10/12/2016 00:33 | Of course you didn't ;-) You didn't see it for the cleaners either S | sweenoid
09/12/2016 17:33 | I'm not sure I ever saw share incentives listed for martin ashton. | twatcher
09/12/2016 11:47 | Windows 10 to be compatible with ARM processors: hxxp://www.anandtech At the moment it only mentions Microsoft working with Qualcomm and using their chips, however according to the article the emulation is software based so no reason why other companies can't get in on this, like Mediatek, Samsung, HiSilicon etc. This could open up the ultrabook Windows laptop market to the likes of Imagination. | timbob2000
09/12/2016 10:27 | When I saw the Khronos openVR standards initiative announcement on anandtech on Wed, I was concerned that IMG was not listed as one of the founding members. However it appears IMG got on board a couple of days later, as the official Khronos page lists them:- | twatcher

08/12/2016 13:02 | I thought about selling but decided after sitting through a couple of horrible years the tide had turned. Understand why some sold though.., | richardc77
08/12/2016 12:20 | Looks like 'whoever' management are talking to ....are listening :-) S | sweenoid
08/12/2016 07:52 | Good news re Nick James going 'upside' He always asks the best questions in the CC's , I think he got sick to the teeth with HY in the past and really hammered us. Message for me here is that the new management are managing to communicate the story effectively , I guess they will be doing institutional presentations right now?, let's hope they go well. I also think the past association with our CEO and Peter Hill the new chairman is very good news, especially given its context. Things looking up here after a very long period of ....misery S | sweenoid
07/12/2016 20:53 | Prim I notice that it says "Tile based rendering" rather than "Tile based deferred rendering". That seems very odd since the "deferred" bit was IMG's USP!! Have they quietly dropped deferred rendering or are they just failing to maximise on the publicity?? | jamesrowe |
