Those of us in the N.W. can also see the support of the business community in Lancs for shale.
They have put themselves into a shale ready position.

The publically stated readiness of the College network, based on Blackpool & Fylde college.
The engineers will be trained for the future, in the region for the region.

The groundwork is quietly moving along, & Blackpool did not object to the C. Fylde development.

It is not always as it looks in the National press.

and finally tonight - Greenhow have been getting their "feedstock" from the HIGH PRESSURE MAIN
so that's on the doorstep TOO!

pipeline from ince to runcorn, Rocksavage alongside Manchester ship canal (owned by WHO?) would be approx 4.5 miles and to stanlow would be 2 miles!!!!

Runcorn eh!
INEOS - recently completed new chlorine plant (complete with own on site CCGT)
right next to "Rocksavage" CCGT power station
Stanlow refinery - just across a small inlet near Frodsham Owned by Esssar energy these days (and BTW) the brothers tried desperately to take it back from shareholders to their own full control! WHY?
Greenhow - Fertilizer manufacturer - American owned - 400 yards from a HOLE we own and is already drilled!
Drilled on land we have a very favourable landowner deal with - "PEEL" (since 2008 BTW0
who recently created a "BRAND NEW" subsidiary "peel oil & gas"

That is an awful lot of customers for oil and gas on the doorstep of INCE/Ellesmere

potential for far more - Vauxhall, Quinn glass et al

Inoes - sucking brine out of cheshire salt and piping to Runcorn via Northwich - as a consequence creating caverns for storage of gas!

Just do some home work on EDF/kingsroad (middlewich) and gas storage at Stublach

Now! just think why all this is happening within this region and ask yourselves
"Do these guys running these companies talk to each other and plan WAY AHEAD?"

extrapolate to other areas! wot do you get? Hmmmmmm

just my opinion - but wot do I know! - well a big holding thats fer sure!

I read that article in the paper today. Makes total sense. As eggs are eggs, its sure to happen. It does not make economic sense not to. Gas= Fracking= Energy security.
