18/10/2018 09:49 | galeforce, actually I despise TM for different reasons from you . It was because of what happened to an old friend of mine who was the victim of TM as Home secretary when she brought in regulations ( obstacles ) to people having the audicity to fall in love with a none EU person . She is a mean spirited woman lacking any sense of compassion or empathy as are most Tory MPs such as Peter BONEHEAD as I call him. ( smile ) . I am ashamed to say I was a Tory until 8 years ago - incredible when I look back as I now detest most of them . ( wry smile ) | arja
18/10/2018 09:49 | Stoxx - whehey, let's crash out, let's make millions of people unemployed! How crazy you hard brexiteers are. Surely it's completely obvious at this point that for the UK a no-deal Brexit is economic suicide. We can either eat some humble with the EU and accept the deal they are offering us, or we can move to to the Norway/Switzerland situation and join EFTA. The latter is a lot more sensible, IMO. | galeforce1
18/10/2018 09:43 | agree TOTALLY about TM, absolute incompetent !! she (TM) was/is a remoaner... she has attempted to appease the EU at every turn, a strong disciplined leader is required to basically take us out of the EU on our terms, if the EU doesn't like it, no deal... end of... the EU has as much to lose as the UK, the UK will not be the last to leave this cesspit of a money hole, would imagine within 5 years germany , france and a few others will go through the same process. this is the beginning of a total break up of the EU yes some investment will be lost in UK, yes some companies will leave the UK... so what.. they will be back in 5 years or so..importantly, we have our borders back, we no longer have to contribute to the EU fund and are finally able to negotiate our own trade deals. lets get on with it !! | stoxx67
18/10/2018 09:33 | Arja - I agree with you. Theresa May is a witch, and a blooming incompetent witch. Everything she touches turns to ashes. Her current problems all go back to the ill-judged speeches she made in her early days as PM where she set out her 'red lines' (to the delight of the drooling tabloids) and talked a lot about the Commonwealth, the UK's unique place in the world and other such drivel. These speeches came across as ludicrously self-important and managed to unite every other EU leader against her. EU unity is rare, but TM's hapless diplomacy made it happen! She is now totally discredited at home and in the EU and she should resign. We need a new face as PM and a new, achievable policy. Like putting the UK in EFTA, I suggest. | galeforce1
18/10/2018 09:29 | as I said , brexit might help this stock which is what is holding it up I guess . | arja
18/10/2018 08:49 | dreaded Brexit ? cant wait for it to happen. just wish we didn't have to hand over an extortionate sum (£39bn) to rid ourselves of the peasants. dont we (UK) have £8.9bn in EU investment Bank , that we require back? | stoxx67
18/10/2018 08:43 | this stock is trading between about 590 and 610 recently but surely it will continue southwards purely based on fundamentals after recent EU ruling ? Unless of course the dreaded brexit happens and ruling no longer applies ! | arja

15/10/2018 20:00 | Well, I'm out but I still think there will be a profit warning. But with this volatility the share price could rally especially as the markets strengthen into the Xmas period... Roch | rochdae
15/10/2018 12:01 | Was a bit of a soggy start this morning but now looks like a good improvement for this afternoon is possible | andrewclarke99

12/10/2018 12:25 | Well, I added some more yesterday. Buying market-leaders at rock-bottom prices seems ok to me despite all the "noise" GLA | mister md
11/10/2018 20:44 | Closed short here. Not bad 300 points. Volatility returning so IGG will do well. Plus the company is fundamentally sound with excellent management. I think there will be a good chance of a further profit warning though. The new regulations will severely reduce profits. Nevertheless, trading and investing is a massive global growth story. 08/10/2018 21:32 | zangdook, It may be the underlying IT platform a variety of brokers use, I forget the name but it was cited e.g. in association with dividend/cash transfer delays at the tanfastic Barclays 'Smart Investor'. I quite despair at the state of modern online broking compared with a decade or so ago. | edmondj
