Finally got round to viewing the webcast and results presentation.
Breon is a very impressive guy and has made good progress.
Look at this years slide deck vs last year/ 2 years ago. There is now a strategic focus.

Slide 24-26 is the reason I am not going to sell a single share. I believe that Breon has the skills and track record to turn this good ship around and unlock value.

If we are valued at x15 FY26 guidance, Share Price should be ca £17. I was pounding the table on this board about c-suite changes. Looks like the path forward will generate the value that was trapped under June and her moronic team.

I am not surprised that shares have bounced after the announcement, where the FY24 numbers were meh….I think the market recognises that the slate has been cleaned and we are moving into better times.

alotto, it's not surprising if you leverage trade (CFD).

- No interest on cash
- Very expensive daily interest charge
- Very expensive commission

I've not traded with IG since March 2024 and I've been a trader with them since 2009. It's too expensive right now.

No complaints with the app and website they are top tier.

Reduction in customer numbers is entirely rationale in my mind given that we've had a couple years now where people can get 4%-5% risk free in a bank account.

that greatly reduces the perceived upside from equities and therefore an attritional impact on customer numbers seems logical. SOme will move quickly, some slowly and some only after rates have started to go down. Similar how a lot of retail punters only buy once equities have been flying and only just before they dip!!

I dont have a huge position here however the ROCE has always looked good and multiple puts something of a floor under the price. The new CEO also alludes to changes which he wants to make too, which cant be a bad thing

I under estimated the results impact and sold off in three stages ca 862p, no complaints because i was on a significant profit, good luck to remaining holders.

The red flag is the ever shrinking customer base. This is at least the second time they report loss of customers.
Changing company culture is a cheap move, this kind of initiatives are likely to create discontent and key employees will leave for greener pastures.
If you take out the interest income, things look even less rosy.
I use IG and I find it a great app with a great customer service. But the industry is highly competitive and people opt for commission free apps. I am using also trading 212 on a very small sum and it doesn't compare to IG. Total lack of transparency on spread and slow execution time. I use Barclays Smart Investor too and the customer service is atrocious.
I am not sure what else IG could do to grow revenue and profits.

Results scream "could do better" to me, and hardly justify the sustained rise in share price over recent months.

I expect we will open markedly lower. But I am cr*p at such predictions!
