Losing ground here. Is this general market weakness. I would have thought increased volatility with elections and wars would push up turnover |
IGG's spread betting arm should benefit from higher tax on on share capital gain in the UK. |
the lack of small cap betting is abysmal though..i'd look elsewhere |
IG have dropped deposits to £50..i think punters have had enough of all the crooked shorting going on and you cant blame them |
fall before the rise to 10 |
The current drop has halved the dividend value, we could be back to 900p by the end of the week. |
Traders jumping ship before ex divi. |
Given sentiment has been against them for years, one decent trading statement isn't going to changes things. Needs consistent, shareholder friendly performance |
Yep - eps of 102p for fy25, pe below 10 and market yawns. Ultimately, eps growth and share price grow together in the long term so I am not worried. I was really impressed with the ceo’s narrative at the interims a few months ago. |
Rather a miserable share price permanence given yesterday's update. |
Difficult to find one as cheap and as good at paying out dividends on the morning of the due day :) |
Q1 revenue up 15% on increased volatility….great result. Interest income is in line with PY, so this is genuine growth in customer spend. We are on pe of 9, vs 13 for CMC. I think we might close the gap over the next few months. |
Good start this morning, but soon sold down on low volume. |
trading update due thurs |
atm It's steady at 970 so I suspect that's the sell price. |
Now that the Tastytrade guys have sold 6.5 million shares you might find it will go over the 1000 mark.
Should find out in the next couple of days what price they sold them for. |
It just wants to go over 1,000p |
IG integration with TradingView goes live for Australian clientsHttps://fxnewsgroup.com/forex-news/platforms/ig-integration-with-tradingview-goes-live-for-australian-clients/ |
SP took a beating yesterday, I guess a bit of profit taking prior to run up to ex divi date. |
Plus flying |
gbh2 thank you!
So only 105th position at that moment but the share price was 915.5 ... today it´s around 960.0, so worth keeping an eye on. |
If I am not mistaken IGG now ranks 87th in market cap amongst the FSTE 350 which makes it a strong candidate for entry into the FTSE 100 in the September rebalancing.
Anyone agree/disagree? |
