Idox announces key leadership appointment
Alex Wrottesley joins as Director of Geospatial Division
Idox plc (AIM: IDOX), a leading supplier of specialist information management software and geospatial data solutions to the public and asset-intensive sectors, is delighted to announce the appointment of Alex Wrottesley as Director of its Geospatial Division, marking a significant step in the company's strategic growth journey. Alex brings extensive experience in digital innovation, geospatial data, and business development, positioning him perfectly to lead the division through its next phase of growth.
Alex joins Idox from Landmark Information, where he led the Geodata division. During his tenure, he was instrumental in delivering innovative geospatial solutions and driving business growth through the effective use of data and digital technologies. Prior to Landmark, Alex was the Head of Geovation, a location data accelerator backed by Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry. At Geovation, Alex provided crucial support to over 100 start-ups, helping them raise investment and build cutting-edge products across sectors such as property, mobility, energy, and infrastructure.
Alex's appointment represents a key milestone for Idox as it seeks to expand its presence and leadership in the geospatial sector. His deep industry knowledge and entrepreneurial mindset align with Idox's vision to innovate and drive growth through strategic use of data and technology.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS). His experience and leadership will be pivotal as Idox continues to develop its geospatial offerings and explore new market opportunities.
