10/12/2008 20:36 | Broker forecasts are way too optimistic. This will miss again, mark my words, and the brokers will just follow it down. Warnings come in multiples... | doowle
10/12/2008 12:29 | these are oversold and its just shorters delight.. still bid due anytime... about time I got a few at 20p. | powwow

06/11/2008 15:04 | What a roller coaster ride. No shorters but the overhang has cleared. | u813061
05/11/2008 22:50 | cheers you just got a few today | powwow
05/11/2008 16:07 | I checked with my broker yesterday as the stock had caught my interest there were 3 forecasts after the interim statement made on 15th Sept Numis plus 2 others the consensus was £4.7m. I just could not make it out by breaking down the last three half year figures I worked this year to be about flat without writedowns and exceptionals and seems I was bang on ex exceptions etc. DYOR AO edit the high was £5.7m!! | a0148009
05/11/2008 15:59 | If you got some at 33p this a.m thats a nice near 50% profit. | powwow
05/11/2008 15:41 | A0148009 - 5 Nov'08 - 09:54 - 1100 of 1102 what did the analyst predict and when did they do the analysis.. I mean if they did it 12 months ago and never revised it, of course its out of date according to changing circumstances. | powwow
05/11/2008 15:40 | Looks like its finally ending, the shorters are closing, because at this price its just silly. | powwow
05/11/2008 13:07 | this looks very oversold. has 9 million cash and a market cap of only 10 million. You never know the old directors who sold out in the £3 levels could buy this back and take it private. One has to ask, if there was a bidder, why is that same bidder not coming to IDS for further talks. They were willing to pay over £2.00 per share, but now at 37p its very very cheap and has the slowdown priced in... What is a real bid??? | powwow
05/11/2008 09:54 | As ADVFN have not picked this up here it is:- RNS Number : 4608H Ideal Shopping Direct PLC 05 November 2008 For Immediate Release 5 November 2008 Ideal Shopping Direct PLC (the 'Company') Trading Update Current market conditions have had a negative impact on sales. Total net revenue for the seven weeks from 7 September 2008 to 26 October 2008 was 10% lower than in the comparable period last year. This compares with an increase in total net revenue for the first ten weeks in the second half, as reported in the interim announcement on 15 September. As a consequence, cumulative net revenues for the first four months of the second half have fallen to 3% below the previous corresponding period, significantly short of management expectations. In the remainder of the critical final quarter of the year, when trading is traditionally stronger, the Board anticipates a lower than expected gross margin from the sales mix, which in addition to the reduced sales levels, will have an impact on profitability. Together with higher than budgeted overhead costs of £0.9m, the Board anticipates a small trading loss for the year to 28 December 2008 before taking charges of £0.8m for stock provisions and £0.9m of exceptional costs, £0.6m of which represents cash held on deposit with Kaupthing that the Board considers unlikely to be recoverable. The Company's cash balance at 26 October 2008 was £5.7m and the Board anticipates that the cash balance at 28 December 2008 is expected to be approximately £9.0m. The Company expects to report its pre-close trading update for the year to 31 December 2008 in mid-January 2009. The analysts were miles out on their forecasts a seven year old kid could have done better. The analysts were hopelessly wrong on their forecasts a seven year old child could have done better. Expected £9m cash at end of year - the business is in for nothing.DYOR AO | a0148009
04/11/2008 13:16 | 100,000 shares were dumped at 27.5 p once that overhang has gone the shares should move upwards. With net cash on the balance sheet and freehold land and buildings this company has a strong balance sheet than most. | u813061
24/10/2008 10:52 | so someone sells 3000 shares and they drop it 11%.. come on MMs you're having a laugh... | powwow
10/10/2008 11:15 | I think we'll see the bidders come back in pretty soon. | powwow
09/10/2008 12:40 | Keep watching. Good riddance to the CEO. He could have accepted a decent offer of around £2.50 at a time when he when the company was performing badly. | u813061
20/9/2008 17:10 | Interims v.poor. Has to be scope for further bad news this year, but put on my watch list if tanks below a pound, | topvest

14/7/2008 12:25 | may be heading for £1.25 if it breaks that 80p. We'll see how it goes if we don't get the end of day buys pushing it back up a tad | powwow
14/7/2008 10:05 | I know my facts, my point was even you change your mind because up until now you were making out your were always correct. Grow up now. Tell the truth. They were your words not mine in the post. Now o and sit on the stairs. | powwow
11/7/2008 11:35 | powwow - you are incorrect... I changed my mind and posted that I thought Powerleague was a sell given the consumer slowdown.... get your facts right... if you can't even tell the truth about something then what is the point of posting????? Slap | slapdash |
