02/5/2024 15:48 | Government still playing Hard Ball with insisting 6 Day delivery stays. Deluded Sunak sees this is a vote Winner from the Silver Brigade and possibly Postal Voters? | isis
02/5/2024 10:47 | Amazon etc. are not really geared up to take over a full Postal Service imo. in fact they use RM for some of their stuff. RM have to deliver everything everywhere not Cherry Pick. I'm happy for a bid at the right price. He has picked a vulnerable time when RM is going through change, alot Bolox about fake stamps, low share price and a fekin ridiculous PM in charge! | isis
02/5/2024 10:39 | Well the share price is not even near the paltry 320p offer price! Well we're see how this pans out. Ketinsky may still make an offer just see what the reaction is. | isis
02/5/2024 10:22 | Yes NMRN and the tax payer left with the redundancies. When DK made his first stake in March 2020 four yrs ago must prove he's serious. I use the Sharescope data to do alot of research and they have an EV valuation on this at £4.28. | vatteton
02/5/2024 07:51 | I get the impression that the market thinks whatever price is offered it will be rejected. I can't personally see the Government or the Unions allowing RM to be owned by one Man. They have been very strict with the sale of The Telegraph and it is back up for sale after a bid backed by Arab money. RM is just too important as part of the UK infrastructure, I could be wrong but a bid would have to be a fair bit higher too. | isis
29/4/2024 19:02 | £2.5billion in property and surplus Pension Fund! | isis
29/4/2024 18:47 | 400p still seems too cheap given it's assets GLS and potential. | isis
29/4/2024 18:02 | A 400p offer flushes out the board whose only consideration is Fiduciary Value and duty to shareholders. Also in my opinion very hard to justify legal blockage if the guy is already cleared as owner of 28% and also Sainsbury and West Ham | moorsie2
29/4/2024 16:56 | VATTETON, He will make an improved offer before the May 15th deadline. I would guess around £3.60 to £3.80. All IMHO, NMRN | not my real name
29/4/2024 15:06 | It is on topic, Government are highly involved in this! No one knows he's next move! | isis
29/4/2024 15:03 | So guys back on topic what do you think DK next move is going to be ?? | vatteton
29/4/2024 13:29 | I've never seen such short odds for an election some Bookies have Labour at 40-1 on and the Tories at 12-1 to win. | isis
29/4/2024 10:28 | Reading the press this weekend I got the impression that bid will be made. Bidder making high level contacts with Labour government. Also the Sunday Times report that Unions will end hostility to Royal Mail service cuts in the face of the takeover threat should be positive news either way. My guess is that a Labour government will not roll over and cave in to unions, they have a chance of being in power for a very long time if they get business and the economy right. Many are saying that there could be a Summer election. Starmer is not that stupid and will be getting advice from the likes of Blair and other moderate socialists. With Labour likely to make gains in Scotland there is almost no chance of a Tory government. They are powerless now so they should step aside. | careful
29/4/2024 09:05 | Thought we would see a spike today as Unions support change. Maybe it's because the Government are still playing hard Ball. | isis |
