31/8/2018 15:49 | Too many large buys for day traders. Anybody have a ceiling for when the share flattens out esp with low dividend. I bought in a while back at 40p and have had to topslice too often. (not complaining) | petewy
31/8/2018 15:27 | rivaldo, Not sure the reason for buying is that they believe the stock is good value. Maybe it's because the shares are in uptrend and they believe the shares will continue to go up :-)) | eagle eye
31/8/2018 15:14 | (1) People sell for all sorts of reasons, but a 50,000 buy at 151p is for one reason only - because they believe the stock is good value (2) Large trades like this would have been worked by the MMs in the background mopping up any smaller selling (3) The price movement on the back of this buying tells us that the MMs don't have much available stock to meet demand That's three things of value these trades are telling me just off the top of my head :o)) | rivaldo
31/8/2018 14:43 | I would say a 50.000 buy is what I would call a conviction buy,,,,,,,the seller has most likely reached his target price and moved on,,,,,,,,,that's what makes a market and good luck to him I say ,,,,,only IMO of course :-0)) | cheshire man
31/8/2018 14:17 | Couldn’t you equally say if someone bought 50,000 then someone also sold 50,000? Not sure trades like that tell us anything of value | leavers
31/8/2018 12:58 | Nice - looks like a 50,000 share buy at 151p. Encouraging to see the continuing buying interest at these levels. | rivaldo
31/8/2018 12:56 | Bought my last batch at 139p. largest holding and don't see any reason to sell for minor retracements as long as the upward trend in the chart remains intact. | melody9999
31/8/2018 12:50 | I have sold 75% of my holding today. I think we will fall back from here. GLA. | leavers
31/8/2018 12:41 | Still going up despite IC tip. Now that shows real strength!!!! | melody9999
31/8/2018 12:20 | Selftrade buy request is being routed to dealer. Not had that before. Picked a bad time to bed and ISA! Grrr | jimbobaroony
31/8/2018 11:58 | Used to subscribe to IC - clueless | panic investor
31/8/2018 11:57 | Buy gone through at 150p Shares tipped Ideagen c130p recently. | jimbowen30
31/8/2018 11:17 | Good to see another new ATH for IDEA ! Wasn't IDEA a sell recommended by clueless "Shares" when the share price was about 90p ? I recall commenting on the stupidity of that on this forum !! The same Shares that dismissed ARC as being not worthy of a listing on the stock market ? Now just about 120% up this calendar year alone. As always, have the courage of your convictions and invest accordingly and not be side tracked by so called professionals/broker | multibagger
31/8/2018 08:54 | Indeed! New highs again, with buying this morning at up to 148.6p. | rivaldo
29/8/2018 22:27 | Thanks Riv - for me IDEA ticks a lot of boxes to be a core investment in the portfolio. The chart is a thing of beauty! GLAH | melody9999
29/8/2018 11:10 | Melody9999, the aviation sector is one of Q-Pulse's biggest customers (more than 100 clients from memory). Thanks for the Purolite contract win news. it's good to see IDEA winning business in Biotechnology, and it seems there's more work to come: "The project with Ideagen comes as Purolite looks to expand its operations in biotechnology – with future plans to utilise the Q-Pulse system within its sites in Romania, the United States, and China." | rivaldo
29/8/2018 08:59 | Do we already have customers in the airline industry? Asia Pacific Aviation Safety Seminar 2018 to Take Place in Seoul on 5-6 September This year's event is being hosted by Asiana Airlines, and supported by Airbus, Boeing, Aireon, Aerobytes, ASQS, CAE, Ideagen, MITRE, Pratt & Whitney, Singapore Aviation Academy, Southpac Aerospace, and Teledyne Controls. hxxp://www.asiatrave | melody9999
28/8/2018 12:27 | I added a few more today to celebrate this! Mark Price, Regulatory and Quality Corporate Manager at Purolite, said: 'The project with Ideagen is a major investment as we are looking at the agarose market and see our future operating within the likes of the Biotech Industry; a high value, heavily regulated industry. hxxps://www.marketsc | melody9999
21/8/2018 12:43 | Now 145p No fresh news that I am aware of that is driving this momentum...looks like 150p will be taken out in the next day or two. Good luck all :) | multibagger
21/8/2018 10:48 | Great to see these new all-time highs. Buying at 141p earlier on. | rivaldo
20/8/2018 15:17 | Lovely end to the day here for us :-) | cheshire man
20/8/2018 15:06 | Another intraday ATH at 140p (bid/offer 138/142p). | fizzypop
20/8/2018 13:33 | suspect probably because lower volumes over the summer period .... but neverthe less 40K traded to date today and all buys. | melody9999
16/8/2018 10:05 | It's not the 4p per se change, but the link with the low volumes which is unusual. IDEA is a pretty liquid stock with decent volumes traded daily. Every stock has its own trading rhythm (volumes, price moves, AT/O trades etc) and this appeared to be an anomaly.Could be something or nothing - just an observation. | multibagger
16/8/2018 09:32 | 4p is not a major % change for IDEA. | jimbobaroony |
