IOM taking over a group of companies for (up to) 10x EBITDA. If IDE could just sort out their LN's they'd suddenly look very cheap.

Means very little. The comparison is from dec 2021 to june 2022 in which time the share price has gone down.I'd say we all have unrealised losses in IDE!

FINNCAP says 18th August for results, then H1 2022 29th Sept. There will probably be an extension on that!

Potentially 4 more weeks, news imminent... last time they sent the RNS stating the numbers and the delay, the stock gapped up 17.29% close was 1.10 on 24th open was 1.33 on the 25th... expect something of the same maybe more.

Good morning Deekers. I agree that that would be the best situation all round and let's hope it's the case. A multiple akin to Tax Systems would be marvellous. Take out price of 8p would give an EV of £65m or thereabouts. (in buoyant markets no problem..... I'd settle for 6.5p for a quick sale - but hey it's not up to me.....)

Hope you are well agedman, these are easily worth double that, but selling pressure will be too high for it to happen in the open market imho, so it will need a sale which was always the desired outcome, I think Kestrel would stop it being taken out on the cheap by MXC at such a low price anyway, MXC want to have a sale like they did with Tax Systems plc.

MXC's stated aim here was to turn the business around - it has v successfully - and recover all their money invested. I believe that they have stuck in around £24m. The loan notes take care of around £12m - if they are to be fully repaid - and the rest would require a share price of around 7p. I'm not saying that this will all play out and they could well be taken private but it would have to be at a considerable premium to today's price. Perhaps splitting the difference ie 4.05p or thereabouts. (7+1.1)/2

People are clearly trying to trade this share for a fast buck. Good luck to them - this is a buy and hold for news of debt reorganisation and potential merger etc.

Either a very quick change of heart or a Bed and ISA. Certain online brokers - since C19 - have stopped the facility of buying/selling mid spread which is king annoying.
