Tony... As Divmad says, they applied on the 9th...possibly the updated date means they have had to submit additional info? Possibly means that we will have a quick decision now and move ahead. Look out for anchor handlers arriving this week and we will know we are off.Say it takes 5 more days so total of £1.5million out of £8million contingency. Still plenty left in the tank for the rest of the Wells.Serenity is a great prospect to drill and once it spuds, I'm sure the market will start to get excited again. I'm happy enough to let them get on with it and ignore burger flippers telling me to sell because computer says so... LolThey may be right or wrong but either way, that is not the way to invest in an oil drilling campaign! My view is back to 26p plus this week and then moving back up. Possibly a small dip before but not much and probably a very small window to buy cheap before the price goes back up.

When I first looked yesterday at the OGA sir, I observed that three of the permit applications for the S1 drill by Petrofac were dated 8th and 9th of September, that is immediately prior to the fateful RNS. I get the sense that they already knew the result and had taken active steps back then to change round the order of drilling. Subsequently yesterday, and to my surprise, the date had changed to a late one. Go figure!

I also mentioned £1.40 as half broker target. You are just being picky now. I mentioned the broker target as it is the official target. I mentioned my target as it I as my target. It isn't anything difficult to understand. I'm not going to be Greedy. If this hits £1 on Serenity I will be out. I won't hang about for the next drill.

Flawless,

That's not what you posted in post 12578, there was no mention of it being a broker target and if you are at odds with the broker target why keep mentioning it. ?

Flawless,

I’m not questioning contingency though the fact were talking about it 36 days into a 93 day drilling program is a concern.

I’m talking delay in permits - does not make sense including your explanation. The system has to let you apply in time to keep a rig productive. They have to be paying over $300k a day in standby charges. I3E knew the drill results on the 10th Sept. They even stated that they foresaw the possibility of missing the target so you would have assumed they would have also anticipated the needs to change drilling order. Why the delay - did they drop the ball or is there a better reason that doesn’t question Management.

Again, that is a broker target. I will never invest on that bases but that is what the broker says. I always look at 50% of broker target so £1.40 ish. The broker target is actually £2.70p for Serenity strike mid case.
