21/8/2024 11:35 | I wonder how much support the board actually has from the institutions. A 25% no vote looks possible - holders at 30 June had Hargreaves at 6.22% and Interactive at 5.15% so that's 11% in private holders hands then you have the institutional on top so it may only take 3 of them voting against and the deal could fail. The price will fall on a no vote but in the longer term shareholders may well be better off especially if there is a change in management. | scrwal

21/8/2024 10:45 | The market makers seem happy to soak up the sells and have plenty of shares on their books. Are they expecting a counter-bid? I’m dithering on whether or not to buy more. | ![]() roundtheworld
21/8/2024 10:12 | Fandagle, presumably you're including yourself in the 85%, having sold out at a loss twice and bottled it before the Q2 figures so missing out on yesterday's rise? Luckily for me I didn't listen to your drivel about 7p and I'm up 24% so far. What happened to 'last post' and 'job done' - was that just more stuff that you've made up? | ![]() jw97

21/8/2024 08:15 | Has anyone had a proper look at GTE? Because I'm not at all sure where loganair got his numbers from. According to the H1 filing, revenue was actually $ 323,186 and net income $ 36,293. Netbacks and FFO look decent. loganair 20 Aug '24 - 16:08 - 38253 of 38287 0 4 0 The planned purchase of I3 Energy comes a week after Gran Tierra reported its half-year results, which showed its revenue fell by 20 per cent to £60.3million in the six months ending June, while its profits slumped by 24 per cent to £8.4million. | ![]() swanvesta

20/8/2024 22:38 | Reference Curry's this year - the offer from PE fell through & the share price collapsed but did subsequently recover as their results were ok. AECO is not only on the floor, it's under the floorboards. WTI is weak & China demand is slowing. There is no guarantee this will not fall back under 10p. If it does go above 13p tomorrow I'm selling my final 100k & then putting in a limit buy order for 100k at 9.75p. Those buying in today, why did you not buy when it was 9p ? | ![]() marine boy
