Worth a thought for the Hindenburg Airship that exploded 85years ago today. To people of a certain age, the Hindenburg exploding [with the lose of life] as it tried to dock in New Jersey, will be what comes to mind when asked about Hydrogen

Reading a Media Release today. It notes that Europe is to invest €470Billion in the hydrogen / Fuel Cell sectors over the next three decades.

I hope they have a Buy European manufacturers policy.

Hi Zingaro,
Reads well imho - the war in Ukraine will have hurried the energy transition along a bit ... but the reports always seem to give the year 2030 to see the real traction in fuels cell / hydrogen growth.
Good luck with your investments.

Yesterday I reported on NEL Hydrogen whose shares I hold. Today I report on a disastrous Q1 interim report from PowerCell Sweden a make of fuel stacks that convert hydrogen to electricity (a stock I also hold). Of course the report uses glowing words but the shares fell 20% today presumably because the financials/sales are not good and also no word on progress with Robert Bosch who have a deal with PowerCell. Here is a link to the report.

Last one in the recent (March) march backlog

Nel ASA: Receives purchase order from Biproraf for hydrogen fueling equipment in Poland

(Oslo, April 1, 2022) Nel Hydrogen Fueling, a subsidiary of Nel ASA (Nel, OSE:NEL) has received a purchase order from Biproraf, belonging to Grupa Technologiczna ASE, for one H2Station™ hydrogen fueling station. The unit will be used to fuel both light- and heavy-duty vehicles (FCEV) and forklifts in Poland.

Biproraf, who provides safe technologies and solutions for industry and economic infrastructure, and specializes in the design, supervision and construction of installations and facilities, will perform all the EPC work related to the project.

"We are pleased to be chosen by Biproraf to be the supplier of their first H2Station™ and we look forward to support Biproraf with this project " says Lis Gammelgaard, Regional Sales Manager at Nel Hydrogen Fueling.

The H2Station™ module, consisting of one station module and two dispensers, is a robust and state-of-the-art hydrogen fueling station which allows to refuel light-duty vehicles in less than five minutes and heavy-duty vehicles in less than twenty minutes in a safe, fast, and reliable way.

And another - I am not interested in ramping (though I suppose it might be beneficial to me). I think it would be good to get a measure of the volume of orders for the different companies (NEL, ITM) providing hydrogen to see which are progressing better.

(Oslo, April 1, 2022) Nel Hydrogen Fueling, a subsidiary of Nel ASA (Nel, OSE:NEL) has received an additional order from Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corporation (HTEC) for one H2Station™ hydrogen fueling module which will be used to fuel zero emission light- and heavy-duty vehicles in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

“We are delighted to be chosen by HTEC once again as supplier for its hydrogen fueling solutions. HTEC is a market leader in clean hydrogen infrastructure solutions in North America, with 17 hydrogen fueling stations in operation or development in BC, Alberta, Quebec, and California. We are therefore extremely pleased to be considered as a preferred supplier. We look forward to support HTEC with the continued deployment of the hydrogen fueling coverage and facilitating the transition towards zero emission transport in Canada," says Eddy Nupoort, Director of Sales, and Business Development in North America for Nel Hydrogen Inc.

The combined value of the purchase orders is approximately USD 1.5 million. The hydrogen fueling station (H2Station™) will serve light- and heavy-duty vehicles in the British Columbia region, Canada, and are scheduled to be operational during 2023.

(Oslo, 28 March 2022) Reference is made to the commercial update from Nel ASA (Nel, OSE:NEL) on 23 March 2022. Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser AS, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, has now received a firm order for an alkaline electrolyser system from an undisclosed European customer to provide green hydrogen to the European market.

Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser AS has received a contract for an alkaline electrolysis hydrogen production unit to be delivered to an innovative project that will distribute green hydrogen to multiple clients.

The purchase order has a value of approximately EUR 3 million.

Here is another one
(Oslo, 21 March 2022) Nel Hydrogen Fueling, a subsidiary of Nel ASA (Nel, OSE: NEL) has received a purchase order from HysetCo for several H2StationTM modules to be used for light-duty fuel cell electric vehicles in Paris, France.

“We are delighted to announce that we have been chosen as supplier for hydrogen fueling station equipment by HysetCo and are looking forward to support HysetCo’s efforts in developing the hydrogen mobility infrastructure in France”, says Martin Pfandl, Sales and Business Development Director EMEA at Nel Hydrogen Fueling.

HysetCo is a pioneer of the hydrogen mobility devoted to the development of hydrogen refueling stations network, which owns the world’s largest fleet of hydrogen taxis, deployed in the Paris region.

The installation of the H2StationTM modules at the future HysetCo station of Le Bourget is partly funded with the support of the public-private partnership of FCH JU (Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking) and is scheduled to be operational in 2022.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the contract value.
