Well, I've been accumulating and am hoping that we're at or close to a low.

Good results. Presentation very positive. Good to see almost all business segments accelerating. I like the fact they point out weaknesses like Enpro. Good to see analyst pulling down that forward p/e. We are still v early here...

Sorry, I got confused. Trading statement due 19/04. Not sure what it was that I saw slated for that day, but obviously it's not happened! Sorry.

I'm looking at HTG more and more carefully. Impressive list of institutional share holders with about 50% of the free float in the hands of 10 institutions. One of those is Hunting Investments (I haven't figured out what that is, is that family holdings?). The board have a few shares from internal share schemes, with some selling to market e.g. Jim Johnson (exec director) selling 19,278 and retaining 29,712 shares. That's the biggest holder that I can find. Why not more active buying from the board? Or have I missed something there.

Judging from the tone of the full year 2022 results plus their forward looking statements for 2023 things look set to get better for them. Although they say that the improvement is down to business picking up due to higher POO. That's falling back and a US recession could have it back to 45-55 dollars a barrel (WTI). I guess that's a risk. I've been buying small leveraged positions, but am interested in a longer term investment.

Results tomorrow. In theory it should be good. Looks to me as if the problem faced by HTG is now is that they need to seek more capital, with the banking fears it's not the best time.

It's probably a value fund selling as the company is more expensive than many other oil services because it has a lot less risk. 6p/e in a few years as margins expand and the orders come back is what analysts are looking at. So probably a double within 2 years. 36% a year would not be too bad.

A very strange share price reaction here over the past week especially post a higher offer for Wood. I suspect some funds are still experiencing significant outflows.

I'm surprised to see HTG at these levels after the recent statement.
Can anyone enlighten me about the fall from 350 to 200 in the summer please?
