Laptop, you can go for safety and buy big miners at big prices(RRS,FRES) but it is unlikely that you will double your money quickly. On the other hand, you can buy into Junior miners (PAF,HGM,HOC, etc) which have already doubled in value this year. Then there are the exploration Co's who have found gold in the ground and have the financial muscle to construct a mine (HUM, AAU, etc).

This year gold has turned a corner at $1050 oz and is climbing back to previous highs at $1900 oz. It still has a long way to go at $1300 oz. If the financial markets crash, people will start running for cover and will dive into gold for safety. Even the tiniest companies will benefit.

I started buying into HUM in November 2015 because it is highly rated. I also own PAF which is my biggest investment. I like fireworks, highly volatile companies, so I have a small position in LND which accidentally discovered gold earlier this year and is scoping out the size of the find. News in August? It all boils down to what makes you happy. Best of luck.

Laptop - sorry, I only know about Stratex and I recently sold Kefi (good for trading but I feel it is going to need too much patience and fundraising for me).

Get into MARL L15. It's on the verge of great things on all fronts and with its TSX listing and 1-10 consolidation it should perform well

Thanks for your thoughts there charles, much appreciated :))The gold miners or soon to be I am invested in already are keras, noricum, kefi, stratex, xtract....what do u think of them? Having my doubts about xtract with the mess going on there but think they will recover soon enough enough. But i would like to invest here again and ariana too.

I bought a few more the other day. There's a good return coming to us in the next year or so imho and I didn't want to delay buying a decent stake any longer. Reasons being a) we have just seen the big players moving in on the fund raising at just a tad below the current price which should put a support under it, and b) the gold price is starting to move up at last. There's not much buying at the moment and it feels like nobody is interested in the company but I believe this is one of the best small/medium near-producers waiting to be discovered.

Laptop - AAU will start producing sooner I have little doubt. AAU - 2016, HUM - 2017. By the way, I think the precious metals miners are still very low priced when you compare the prices to the last bull market. Plenty of room for higher prices as the metals increase imho.

Just deciding to buy in here or ariana....which is going to reward sooner? Do u guys think having too many junior gold miners is too risky at present? Barely in mind the general consensus is that gold is on a bull run? Surely the markets can't stay this high for much longer?

Chas, I'm delighted that Hum has raised the money it needed for mining. If they had asked us shareholders to cough up I would would have participated at 22p. So I have been watching and waiting for the opportunity.I bought 50K at 22.45p at 0927 this morning and another 50K at 22.35p late this afternoon which sent the share price Northwards. Well pleased!

The share price is looking a bit healthier now the dust is settling. I hope we will see a steady rise back towards 60p as investors realise that the construction funding is more or less sorted and any so-called dilution is targeting profitability, not to be squandered on admin, salaries etc.

many times that we are (kept)too stupid to influence such descisions and We dont know what we vote for and why - so they will save us from any of wrong decisions we make and try to force our Governmnet to NOT implement any wish to Exit.

Rumours that Europe will negotiate terms with Turkey after the vote,and if Cameron has been shown to be a liar- there will be hell to pay if on top
of refugees,Economic Migrants - Merkel then imposes opening the door to Turks.

Everything in this World is now totally rigged,whilst the Elite that own us are petrified that their (kept stupid)Cannon fodder develop brain cells and use the gift of sight and some foresight.

If only People realised what is truly going on with the US War Freaks trying
to push Russia and or China into Victoria Nuland`s (et al) created potential War ... and utilising NATO to do it !!!
