Charles,

Thanks, hope you are right. Read a very good piece by Rick Rule in which he thrashed the gold miners for losing many billions while the price of gold rocketed. He now says the miners with new management are behaving more like a real industry that values free cash flow etc. Trouble is many institutional investors not surprisingly deserted the miners and have yet to return. Opportunity knocks!

Chip,

Have watched HUM enough now and bought in over the last few days. Think price is subdued as the build up to full production is usually the riskiest time as things can go wrong/need tweaking etc. But think downside risk is small compared to the upside as HUM is highly geared to rising free cash flow with the rising POG. Fingers crossed!

You would think with Sprott as a shareholder, the Tse listing issue would be resolved by now, one way or another. Their counsel is vastly superior to anyone's on any uk bb.

the problem now is to list on tsx they would have to buy or merge with a company or issue a load of new equity neither of which sound very appealing.

That very matter has been brought to there attention,
hopefully now in production they may action it

Perhaps HUM may consider a listing on TSX in the future. As a producer the market would love them.

Croas the big players in SA are heavily discounted compared to international peers.
Due to the list of problems associated with SA. Caledonia is in Zimbabwe, hence the discount.

West African miners tend to be treated by the mkt quite well.

Eg rand gold, semafo, etc

Hummingbird are still very risky until we are in commercial production. We are also listed on Aim so will always struggle to get a valuation similar to Canadian listed equities.

I wasn't cross ramping Caledonia as I don't hold but was wondering do All African gold producers get heavily discounted except the big boys in SA.

Well I’ve just bought another 42,800. HUM is a quality stock and once they reach commercial production I expect a substantial re-rating.

looks like we are going to be stuck in this range until commercial production is reached.

As a long standing "HUM"er I like the sector and will take a look at CMCL but also look at SHG thread and CEO's interview link....really interesting IMO / DYOR and I have topped up onto a big old stake already

CD SLP may be a better bet than CMCL in comparison no divi yet but that may change.
