Also I note speedyhire also closing some branches - I'm happy with a smaller company with much bigger profits.

Because of more remote working at home,I reckon everyone and their dog wants an extension. These are done by small building co's that hire in breakers, diggers, props etc so I reckon they are about to hit the good times.

Boris's 'build build build' should also help.

HSS is a B2b business with only about 5% of their kit going to diy customers. In the lockdown their revenues were down c40% so a recovery for the company is dependent upon the broader economy. DIY won't help

DiY is still allowed, right? One of the few things you can still do until the vaccine has been rolled out

I looked at some of the 2020 results videos on the website prior to considering this share.

The management were self congratulating and puffed up over the results they achieved to date.

I really liked their digital offering and the potential savings this could bring, enabling depots to close.

Not quite sure if this type of share is my thing, but may in future dip a toe in.

I bought a small amount of HSS - on a risk reward ratio I think it is a good bet.

The placing was too cheap and comparing it to speedyhire it could do OK.

Here we go. This could be quite rapid once things get momentum. Absolute steal at these prices and someone is stealing.

Agree, some small scale profit taking. It's still consolidating. A big move up is coming.

A bit of patience required while a few take small profits.

Tosca just took out Talk Talk. They could do the same here, bring it back in 2 years with a much higher valuation

Just sit and wait and watch the value come back in. Considering they have made big cost savings, more moves towards digital, cracking down on cash, 54 million more in the bank, no liquidity issues and what could be a boom year coming up... This has to be a screaming buy.
